Fuse

Cold,
Power within,
Waiting to be released,
Pull the pin,
Count to five,
Throw away,
Power unleashed,
Cold.

Baptism In the Bathtub

Red baptism
Crown, forehead, mouth, heart
Were released
Were redeemed
I bathed in living water
White towel wore me

until the sun released it

Premium Member Bloody Feet

Upon my closing sight of you, blinded words were in your eyes,
Your final hour released you not - you'd walked too long on lies.

Release the Tarnished Sun

The silver sky
Released the
Tarnished sun,
At dusk,
For me
To wane
Into that
Dark eternal
night in the
Land of Tunisia

Trapped

Icy pain gently blinded tears
Inside the glistening icicles

Pulling her encaged screams behind bitter snow
Released hanging death

Her Soul's Truth

Pain
Fills her
Soulful eyes
That reflect such
Strong needs and passions
That Shout to be
Released so
To find
Joy

Premium Member Thought of the day

ego evicted
looks at our soul
as a shadow does
subservient to light

the snake has shed
its lifeless skin
the carcass
released

All-Hallowtide

Ghouls glide through with ease

          souls released, all Hallows Eve

                                    Goodbye dear summer.

God In the Usa

The Minister was so boring
The congregation was snoring
A thunderclap
Released their crap
Until "pew" described the flooring

Silencing the Fire

Released from
the inferno
Tongue of Satan
to betray
Saving words
from his fury
Muting the serpent
—today

(Dreamsleep: June, 2022)

Into the Mist

His shadow moved like smoke,
released from the fire

Fading in the night air
—never to return

Unaware

At the very edge of life
bordered by the admonition
"Don't go", released
to explore, expand knowledge
tangible, tactile
I found assumed freedom.

What Dreams Are Made Of

Dreams are made of hope.
Fantasy and pleasantries.
Imagination
All these released as you sleep
Chase them, catch them, if you can.

At the End

Taking a last breath inside
  the final moment

All perception at once
  inhaled

   —never to be released again

(Las Vegas: August, 2015)

Storm

Deep within a storm rages on
Anger captivates us all.

We fear what hides beneath and fear what can be
Released

Prisoners of our own pain.

At the End

Taking a last breath inside
  the final moment

All perception at once
  inhaled

   —never to be released again
