What a beautiful thought, the soul of wood, makes me think of those giant trees that are over a hundred years old!

Oh yes, and aren't they wonderful characters, they way they bend and twist like winding roads; every turn in the bark takes one into a different area of the imagination. Thanks, Michelle.

You have given voice to the wonder of the universe. We are truly 'partners in Creation' with the One Above. (Of course, I guess one can say that the wood 'evolved.' Hmmm....). Nicely done! Best wishes, Gershon

My late Dad was too; he specialized in cabinet making but made his living building homes. I don't understand it but, there's something in the blood that wood just becomes at one with; it's hard to explain but, I do love wood. Thanks again.

It is interesting to watch people who are so talented in that area. It just seems to come natural to them. Thanks for all the visits to my page. Sara

I am fascinated with wood carvings, wood bowls, wood chairs, wood stumps, wood of any and every kind - balsam, sugar maple, elm, oak, pine. I love the feel, the earthiness, and the essence of each unique piece. Well done M.L.

I am too; my late father was a cabinet maker; he build houses for years and when he retired he built Habitat For Humanity homes. The smells of wood were always around our house and I loved'em; I love the lines and shades in the wood. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks.
