The refrigerator breeze, air in motion, recycled E, air enables emotions, resembles diminutive crush gusts to giant sorrowful storms which scales the love of motion.

Premium Member Cleaning the House

We shoveled stuff under the couch.
Piles of it, until it was lumpy and the cushions rose in the air.
We shoved stuff under the refrigerator
But the mice shoved it back
This is when we fired the exterminator.

Premium Member Hymn To the Flying Spaghetti Monster

We worship the meatball-breasted
Slug-eyed One
Who is fragrant with tomato sauce
Who nourishes us well
Liberates us from hunger
For the sake of full bellies
Even while the cucumbers
Ferment in the refrigerator.

Premium Member Where Does Your Imagination Live

Where does your imagination live the child asked?
In the oak leaves, in the refrigerator, in the daisies I said.
She looked surprised. “Not in your heart?”
Maybe.
“In your mind?”
I think so.
“In the toilet?”
Some days.

Refrigerator Dreams

I reached into the refrigerator,
past the curdled milk and moldy bread.
The withered dreams and stale hopes were at the back.
Their stench was nauseating,
yet familiar.
I shut the door,
telling myself I'd clean it out another day.

You'Re Like.

you're amazing.
your hugs make me feel better.
no matter what.
your words.
are like nobody elses.
but.
you're like...
a refrigerator.
& im the magnet.
you pull me closer.
so close i cant detach myself.
i have to be forced away.

Premium Member It Looks Like a Wristwatch But

It looks like a wristwatch but they are different now.
Not a wristwatch at all. A computer, an I-pad, an I-pod,
A diving board, a sewing machine, a refrigerator.
Lovely, I say.
And it can pilot a plane, she says.
Which might explain its cost.

Premium Member potato salad ghost

A ghost-flitted out of the refrigerator today.
He smelled like potato salad.
Had he been eating it?
Or was he born in it?
The ghost looked right at me.
Gave me a diabolical smile.
For the first time ever.
I was terrified by the smell of potato salad.

Premium Member My Goals Have Changed

So many people do things hither and yon
Willy-nilly, without my permission.
Without my approval
Without my knowledge.
I used to want to control these people
But now all I want is a warm place to sleep,
a credit card that works,
and food in my refrigerator

Premium Member Checking His Listening Ears

It is a bit of an inconvenience to have
A werewolf living in our refrigerator,
A troll residing in your underwear drawer
And a vampire who reads our mail.
My husband looks up. “That’s right,” he says.
Assuring me that he is indeed listening to my every word.
