Oh, my poetic friend, the beauty of your poem puts me over the rainbow.. every line flows beautifully with splendid imagery. I adore this piece, Ani. My pleiades was on a rainbow too, but it doesn't compare to the bright shine of artistry in your piece. A fav! Congratulations, dear poetess, it is a pleasure to share the podium with you. Warmest wishes, love and hugs.. I hope all is well, sweet friend.. ~Susan

With the amount of rain going on these past several days, I could sure go for a rainbow right about now! I hope your poem does well for the contest ... rainbows have always been (well, since the days of Noah, I suppose) a great symbol of hope and rejoicing! This read rather naturally I'd say.

Very well done, Anitha. I bet this will be a top placed one. Not sure about mine. I have been doing Kim's challenges since she started with A, and I think I did food everytime (in case maybe one day I do a book of food poetry!) I was between raspberries, rhubarb, rice and rigatoni. Rice I think is best known and popular, so I went with that one. I bet India has some good R named foods!

You've have done a very good one using the letter R. Way to go. Reads like a good contender to me in the contest. I like the explanation of the science of a rainbow. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara
