When I Was Young, I Was Afraid of Dying
Now That I’m Old, I’m Afraid of Living
Fine showers,
are tears...
heavy rain,
it is snow...
Rain that roars,
it's thunder...
Rain that sings, it's spring... !
She wanted to die,
But they knew it was a lie.
She would always cry
After all of what she'd try
To end all the reasons why.
The simplest of tasks
If done for the wrong reasons
Become tedious
But if done from the heart, they
Empower and provide joy
Beagles
Bark a lot
Not for good reasons
They do not give it much thought,
When people object they bark, "Why the hell not!?"
It’s funny the dreams we let die
The things we never try
The reasons we never ask why
The what ifs we carry with us until we die

love to see
a tv programme
that explains all of the
reasons why we need those
‘External Use Only’ warning labels.
