Premium Member Rawness of Red
There seems
A rawness of red..
Stories of
Blood and battle
Of red sunsets
Of red eyes
Of birthings
Of negative poles..
Uneasy
Yet fulfilling
Appearances of
What is......

Maybe it’s really a smile,
even the sky is lit up;
Transforming the world with joy,
attracted like a moth to your flame;
Possessed by the stormy spectacle
hail beats a cracked pavement wild;
Outrageous loud enthusiasm
rains with the rawness of happiness....

Missing Pieces
Caught you in my reflection,
It zaps
My insides
Like a sting from a bee.
It is not the wisdom you exhibit in your eyes.

It exerts the rawness of our connection.
Trying to wrap
My head around the way we collide,
The way you bring the best out of me.
The way all that was lost, when you died....

Premium Member Secrets In a Storm
Secrets sail on the whirling winds,
along with the dark and driven clouds.
Carried aloft with litter and leaves
are invisible, partly submerged longings:

to hitch a ride on the primal rawness,
to abandon all things set and tethered,
to project oneself toward the unknown,
while thriving through the natural chaos....

Somehow the kitchen sink;
                            It's backed up with Catfish hair;
                            From the Crisco soaked Caviar;
                       As the little kittens all watch and stare;
                             Wondering, wandering aimlessly

Better Peices
You were old and new all at once
A deadly temptation
A glitch in my solid nature
And so I dove head first
And as I did I watched the pieces
Of me break away
To reveal an alien
A rawness, a vulnerability
I had never thought I possessed
Yet there I was
And there you were unchanged
And unaware that I was scrambling
For my better peices...

To Be Moved Like This
If only you knew
how it is to be moved like this.
Displaced for a moment
as I try to catch
the breath you take away.
Fingers drumming drumming
making the ground tremble.
Or is that just me?
I am struck
Heart stopped.
By the beautiful rawness
of your stare.
Oh if only I could
make you understand
how it feels
to feel everything all at once......

The Obsession
Sacrifice obsession, this love
This addiction shows
Every blessing from above
Descends, and mingles.

Insightful wisdom taking time
Affirm, empathic passion
Taking over the mind
This therapy session.

Brings the rawness of life
Including separation.
The drug that gives strife
In sugar coated conversation.

Bring levity to discussion
Look in to sacrifice the obsession....

On a Grassy Hill
I went to the countryside and fell in love with sheep.
Even at this late date.

A city girl wanted to weave
a new fabric for living.

Run with them,
Lie with them,
Shear them.

Touch the lanolin,
Feel the softness,
Smell the rawness.

Look into those eyes,
Dye the wool.
Weave a shawl or blanket,
and crawl under it

Close to the earth
on a grassy hill
In Gloucestershire,
I slept....

Her heart is heavy with despair, her soul abandoned
Unruly tangled locks modestly shroud her face and flesh,
Yet her naked rawness, a voyeur’s ideal conception
Yielding to a drab empty room mirroring a bereft mood
Bedding ladened with dead weight heavily sinking
A young woman in grave distress shedding copious tears
A bohemian girl sequestered, hiding, drowning in sorrows
Her flowing streams fall warm, healing and abiding...

Mike Tysons Iron Fist
Explosion
Heavy punches
Killing in one move
Mental manipulation
Insane and crazy
Mad beat
Ripple in the fist
Stamina of a horse
One punch is all it takes
Let’s dance brother
Don’t stop
Iron stare
Don’t stop with the rawness
Absolute gold
Typical brunts can’t stand up to the iron fist
Not an average sucker
Kill ordinary punks
The heat is in the air
The air is warm
Strength of the mighty
Absolutely Insane
Eat this
BOOM!...

I feel the everything of you,
through spring... through fall my breath would run
across the towers of sky blue
and petals bless our crowning sun,
to grasp a language still undone.

Arrows brush lips , never amiss ,
beholding sighs fragrant as dew
which glaze the rawness of a kiss;
then softens late evening, anew
till we join freely in life's bliss.

You
I don't need fireflies
and stardust.
Or goblins in trench coats
and a fairy godmother.
What I do need
is the rawness of it.
The you,that's beautiful
and vulnerable and
soft hearted and kind.
The you that takes
the plunge to show
me how you truly are.
The imperfect you,that's a human
with innumerable flaws.
Flaws and scars which makes you.
Which makes me
love you all the more.
That's what I need.
Not a fairytale.
But reality....

Premium Member A Toast To Enchantment
To butterflies, bats, and midnight creatures,
To the brilliant, the dark, and things unseen.
To roses, wine, and satin dresses,
To a lucid child-like dream.

To the musty scent of ancient places,
To thoughts distilled on a fragile page,
To open-ended expectations, and
Eccentricities of a secret sage.

To the promise that lies in what is unfinished,
To the charm in the rawness of the fray,
To quests that lead to curious changes,
And rest that unbinds peace and play....
