It's time I admit that I am a quitter
No longer, am I, a cigarette sitter
The stick, I flung
To save some lung
And now I am abnormally bitter
He saw a girl with no face mask
And of course, he took her to task
She said, "That big dude
Likes me in the nude
So it might be safer to ask!"
prone
alone
so lonely
solely for him
pained pale limping heart
our love now quit
no visit
no phone
moan
Don’t Quit
To say that the path is rough,
Or the course is way too tough,
Is not an excuse
To be a recluse
Give effort that’s more than enough!
Actually I quit drinking yesterday
Well, really I quit drinking every day
Then start again
About ten A.M.
Strong-willed is the name of my game
Caught yourself in a spot very tight?
No way out, no one else in sight
Wallow in self-pity
Or think and be witty
Doesn’t matter the route, be mighty and fight
You know who you are.
Write your own stuff.
Don't take my minds eye.
You hack.
Give it back.
What's the matter?
Aren't you intelligent enough to
Write your own original stuff?
I quit law school and became a bartender,
then I took and passed the bar examination.
I had to prove that I had quit not because I couldn't be a lawyer,
I quit because I enjoyed bartending.
One step at a time.
One bite of the lime.
One type of rhyme.
A moment of your time,
While I scrape off the grime.
I'm not losing my mind.
This thing is sublime.
Don't quit the climb.
One step at a time.
Nicotine drips from his flesh,
Brawn tainted by addiction cries
Emotions enmesh—
Nicotine drips from his flesh,
With tobacco laden breath
The crinkle of burning paper dies
Nicotine drips from his flesh—
Tissue, tainted by addiction cries
A cigarette he lit
Because he had no whit
Then came the tobacco spit
He just had no power to quit
He was told not to start
He broke mama's heart
Now with these he can't depart

Quatrain #255:
QUIT
Query thought ***** that takes a bite,
Urge happy cheer to flavour write;
Indulge love near when darkness looms,
Thrill joy right here in sacred cites.

I’m done I say, I’m mad and sad.
The ones that won were rather bad
I won’t try again
Sponsor rigged the win
I always knew he was a cad

The latest Governor of Illinois is Mr. J.B. Pritzker
Your legislative accomplishments make me Illinois want to quit, sir
You've legalized all abortions and recreational marijuana too
Increased government spending; raised my taxes -- Farewell to you!
Trump Should Quit
There is something that majority must admit;
Trump as our President he should really quit;
Is always wrong;
Make move along;
Us and the entire world would surely benefit.
Jim Horn

An escape plan froggy did seek
Frog croaked I’m no quitter
I’ll strangle this critter
The outcome for heron looked bleak!

Candied dreams
are white flags
without respect
to this depletion
of anticipation.
Commas are no longer
Periods as I enter
this complication.
Taking it for granted
Is indeed a certainty.
With red wine in my
hand, counting this as a
Loss I am ready for
Transition.
We fuss. We fight.
Can't get this right.
I swear I'm done and try to leave,
But I can't. I want you here with me.
You say we're done, that I'm crazy,
But still you never actually leave.
Yet somehow, nothing's better than this.
Through everything, we just can't quit.
Two men were thrown into two pits
Mark builds some stairs, but Martin sits
While Martin kept crying,
Mark quit not, kept trying
And reached the top with his sharp wits

Fallen down
Till you tasted soil?
Eureka, sing with me
You never will fall further
Till you dig a pit
4
You dig it in
It's dust to dust
You quit the pix
Its dust to rise
3
Wait not, weep not
Dust must rise
That's the price
2
Once you rise
That's the Prize

Action!
Unyielding is characterized by firmness
and a lack of softness or flexibility.
Not giving in.
Never Quit Or Are Unyielding
Another question we had started fielding;
If they will never quit or are unyielding,
Mind wonder;
Spell under;
Could be a character that is unwielding.

Must Admit Trump Will Not Quit
There is something that we must admit;
Trump ran off big mouth and cannot quit;
Pain in read;
Did happen here,
And much more than can chew off he bit.
So someone got with the program and wrote
a letter to New York Times about it who is on
Trump's staff.

Quit the guessing game, ego spawned
Exit game of shadows
Has not as yet, love and light dawned
Rapture that bliss endows
To voice of God agree
In carefree, joyous spree
Setting soul here, now free
Seek not fleeting fame
Quit the guessing game

< once there was old woman on the prowl
found younger man and begun to howl
under silvery moon
fead him with baby spoon
now stomach does goo goo gah gah grawls
