DECEMBER WIND
Wild wind whistles through frozen trees,
bursts of silence turn leaves quiescent.

quiescent heart and vibrant spirit
enlivened by bliss beats commingle
manifests within delightful surprises
ushered when pheromones mingle
quiescent heart
hums with potent power
the currents toroidal
soundless thunder
silence layers silence
we meld therein
the mists lead us
as we go in within
Rain.... come softly, falling, misting,
Irrigate this thirsty land
Water quiescent seeds
Buried deep within their earthen tombs
Of mud and clay
The quiescent heart
Sleeps in a benumbed setting
For many decades
Waiting for the flame that melts
The ice that serves as shelter

Heart quiescent, our presence still,
voids within, with divine grace fill,
doing nothing, save receiving,
we behold how love is weaving
light strobes in heart, God does instil
Nubile love seeking
mature adventures.
Pulling into its irresistible appeal,
without control,
beyond fathom.
Quiescent desires regains consciousness,
compelling to live again.
Form:
infant twilight suspends noise
around quiescent waters
stars glint nocturnal shallows
frog chants reverberate

A quiescent quiver
haunted the quagmire,
a quandary of purpose
overshadowed the quest.
The quadrangle protected
its secrets in silence.

“Q” Contest, NEW ONLY Poetry Contest
Seasons
of emptiness-
barren,desert dry
poetry can lie
undisturbed
dormant on this page.
a dead object ‘til
the cadence
of a voice
intones
instils
&
thus
becomes alive
dreamy are our eyes
and our heart is quiescent
before life beckons
so poised in the bardo thus
we dissolve the flow of time
formless awareness
stands erect without support ~
our heart lotus blooms
hedgehog hibernates
snuggled under leaf blanket
snowflakes gently fall

My heart sleeps.
I lead it to, tell it to,
Want it to, beg it to.
Slumbering, breathe
Painlessly in and out.
In… and out…
In… and out…
Quiescent, breathe
Painlessly in and out.
Sleep my secret, sleep.
You drifted into my ambience, on a light summers breeze
I'd never seen such perfection, carried with so much ease
We barely interacted, though our eyes may just have met
Quiescently touching my heart, a moment I'll never forget

boons of silence return to form
felt within as a benign storm
all that soul’s presence needs to do
is to imbibe divine touch warm
we feel within, bliss beats renew
each hue new like fresh mountain dew
quiescent heart is receptive
allowing blessings to accrue
the soul have fresh eyes
of humble stars holy light
upon this shining night
shall let your heart
hold the quiescent
earth chamber walls
thus fulfill the
sacred path towards
a merciful and a forgiving God
O Magnum Mysterium
the soul have eyes and
seek your almighty grace
When I learned what harmony is
I learned how to survive
Gossipers' gossips
They painted me lies
And so they put me
behind their quiescent shadows
Yet my life is completely fine
I care nothing more but myself
Don't care if they soar their names high.

On autumn trees the garnet leaves amass
Predestined flocks of birds to there alight
Quiescent in stiff gusts of October
Rosaceous in the sun's reclusive rays
Silent butterflies pirouette to earth

These are people?
These are people.
On the television.
I need redundance
To remind myself
I surmise my sight
Perceives wraith’s
I peer through them
Clean glass onions
Fermenting the soup
Soaking up malleable
Lonely hearts breaking
Like glass that melts
In the quiescent horizon
Bitter Nightshade
Too late now for an Intercessor--
My red, Luscious, Bittersweet berries
Have done their work...and I'm Quiescent...
Ambivalent to your Tactile ruse
Seen as the Quintessence and Arcane.
Your Flamboyant tryst sealed my Immolation.

Kindling
Cradle by wind
Morph into flames
Crescending melody
unites both spirit and soul
Refining
Seasoned
Embers simmer
Tempered cooling
Immutably alive
though silence overshadows
Quiescent

Peaceful, quiescent.
Evening descends, heart ascends.
Soul touched, moonlight blends.

Sky tinged with phosphorescence
Moon pale, convalescent
Incandescent lunar crescent
Adolescent lips meet in acquiescence
Hopes blaze, steamy flourescence
Hush! thy quiescent quintessence
Shy effervescence, her backdrop incalescence
Tumescence lurks too, fraught essence
In Love's Mirror of Evanescence
