Quiescence
Quiescence is from above
From the expanse of heaven
Of calm blue and soothing clouds

Quiescence is from within
Away from the changing sky
Or birds know peace before you

Listen to poem:
To meet someone of your perfection, I have beholden
I've seen it in your oculus glass, protecting the golden
You are the culmination of what life has molden
Simultaneous impressions of heart and soul bolden
Quiescence my happiness, in you, never found cold in...

Lightning Proclaimed
To be quiet with your friends
  and silent with your foes

Creates a thunderous quiescence
  which envelopes your soul

Your enemy weakening
  as truth starts to rain

His darkness expelled
   —by lightning proclaimed

Midwinter Morn
In frosted field the shrouded horses stand

As statues still and frozen in quiescence

No wish to raise their heads their faces bland

‘Til tepid sun should hint at incandescence

Expect Only This
We read of so and so
and his sad ending,
then we remember more;
more people in a long story.

Sadness is a gesture,
an acknowledgement
that we knew all along
its time would come again
with a different face.

Most eulogies withdraw
into quiescence,
a sequestering of parables
told to rushing crowds
and the headlong years....

Smokeless Climax

Ambivalence – her bittersweet response
to the arcane quiescence of the tactile
invisibility – the quintessence of the
intercessor’s immolation of her dreams
upon the luscious flamboyance
of his passion.

Dread
She lies peacefully in our bed dead to the world, unaware of my scrutiny. Her quiescence in that funereal repose sends an ice-cold shiver of dread throughout my entire body. My mind begins to wander through a surrealistic maze that challenges all reality. She’s asleep! I said to myself unconvincingly; then hurried to her bedside and pled out loud: Please! Let these lips I kiss be warm.

The night enlightenment in with quiescent stage Of nature, refining gracious and endless age. Shadows dance rhapsody round slumber's existence As evening due settles discreetly some distance. A vision, a red velvet rosebud of beauty a subtle sweetness scent, sensual, and fruity. Spring breast inner quiescence echoes ebullient, Nature's reverence favorable ambient.

Dark clear night, the moon spills its milk brightness in the big dipper as the north star stands witness. Flawless satin ebony the god of firmament drenched in moonlit romantic breath moment. While gods linger and stand watch and reach out, touch celestial constellation heroes as ardent passion clutch. Oceans tessellated pavement in quiescence of lulls spell; indefinite time wears a mimic echo expression farewell.

Premium Member Blue
Blue the color of the brilliant boundless sky
To look at the heavens with a heartfelt sigh.

Blue of the vast briny ocean
Teeming with marine life always in motion.

Blue feathers of an iridescent hummingbird,
Large Blue Macaw parrot or beautiful musical bluebird.

Blue spring vibrant Empire Blue Butterfly Bush
   Attracting winged pollinators scented cush.

Blue color gives out a feel of peace, tranquility,
   And quiescence serenity.

If Only This
The air it seems is napping,
It is quiet as a death—
The whispered wheeze of evening,
Muted as the final breath.

Like the hushful stir of shadow,
Sleeping reticent, and shy—
The quiescence of a foggy night,
Lifeless as an empty sky.

As soundless as a snowflake
Landing lightly on a hill—
Just as silent as a moonbeam,
And every bit as still.

How grand would be a wisp if wind,
How delightful too, the sound—
If only this, an autumn leaf
As it lights upon the ground....

Dreaming
O' pitiful tangle of dreams gather
Cozy in sweet dream corner
Hidden in my drowse room
Tonight is it’s own creation
Cryptic within the shadows of night
In to the out sandman fade
Betraying no emotion
Whilst' wind is howling
The continuance of imagination rush
Cloud dreams dash past
As my slumber well
Life spins fast across the night sky
Within me mind is my vision
Quiescence in the diameters of infinity
Deep within pressing mind
Sleep forthwith howbeit' eyes shut...
