Eugene and Tatyana
Eugene, I love you!
Tatyana, I’m not the one for you.
Tatyana, forgive me, I beg of you,
Now I see I can’t live without you!
Eugene, forget me, I beg of you,
I’m married now and not for you!

That is a comic poem, inspired by the novel in verse “Eugene Onegin” of Alexander Pushkin.

I Loved You So By Alexander Pushkin
I loved you so, and maybe feeling
yet didn't fade away in soul,
but let it do not make your thrilling
I do not want you sad at all.

I loved so hopeless and so silent,
I was so jealous and so shy,
I loved you tenderly and violent,
let someone love you so like I.
1829

P.S. This is my translation of poem by Alexander Pushkin...

Man of Rhymes
Milton, Dante, Pope,
Pushkin, Lermontov, Shakespeare
Just to name a few
(Reader, I hope no Umbrage taken);
They Reach for Stars and Fly
The Milky Way, Touch Universes
They are Poets!
Me – just a man of rhymes
(At least I try)
Crawling Earth,
Sometimes under, to share information
Which I deem important,
Without any regards to Rules;
Then, just get out....

Grand Openings: When Mcdonald's Invaded Russia
This Grand Opening
I attended: Scene
McDonald’s, Moscow,
Queue extended over
Under Pushkin Square
(Some saw the poet’s
Spirit rise and sniff
The air). No
Royalty to cut
The ribbon, courtesy
Of Comrade Lenin,
Just some shivering,
Hatless Business Guys
With Cheeseburger Eyes,
Cutting Communism down
To size with French Fries,
Beating back
The Russian Winter
With Hot Apple Pies....

Pushkin Translation
I Loved You
by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin
translation by Michael R. Burch

I loved you ... perhaps I love you still ...
perhaps for a while such emotions may remain.
But please don’t let my feelings trouble you;
I do not wish to cause you further pain.

I loved you ... thus the hopelessness I knew ...
The jealousy, the diffidence, the pain
resulted in two hearts so wholly true
the gods might grant us leave to love again....
