The thing I like 'bout poetry
       Not metaphor or simile

     Nor metered foot nor probity
I like it when it smiles at me

A Gentle Reproof
A Gentle Reproof

For want of good sense and probity
It seemed logical for me to offend him
But upon closer examination, the need never
Arose, for his sin was no greater than mine...

I am the archenemy of all things bigoted In word and deed, even in poetry— For of one blood all God has created To live together in peace and probity.

Who I Am
WHO I AM IS A PERSON OF INTEGRITY
I LIVE IN PROBITY
WHAT I LIVE IS A SCHLOR OF VISUAL RIGHTS
I AM NOT SOMEONE ELSE
ABBREVIATION OF ME IS A VIRTUAL TO FLY AWAY
I AM A NOUN
I AM A PRONOUN
NOT A VERB
NOR ADJECTIVE
BUT A IDEALLY OF WHO I AM...

Pronto Pram's Metamorphose
felony figs feigning
pulpy punctured probity
mystic mist moaning
purpled eyes receding
damped desire drooping
salient severity scrunching

two temerarious Varmints -
callous ensconced embroidery
skins sans salmagundi

lusty leery lurching -
atuned atmosphere aiding
cranky coup clustering

chaetophorous Chipmunk saw,
pronto pram's metamorphose.

Premium Member Forsaking 'E' - Lipogram

In a world void of trust and loyalty
It's hard to find a happy family

It's as though it's nothing unusual in this country
Said air thick with vulgarity, disdain, and incivility

I lock my mind and turn to music, obstructing the cacophony
Blocking its aim to drain my will, continuing on with probity
Soothing songs of faith wash through my soul, guarding my tranquility...

Frienship
Complicated but still robust.
Primo the best attitude.
Not manifested by time,
stay put 'til senectitude.
Moments not forgotten, has graditude.

Keeps moving forward.
Different goals, dreams hoard.
Swallows pride, shirk back stabbing crowd.
Commitment unsaid, probity the ring.
Trip, flop, drip, drop be pulled.
Feel worthless, serve like a King.
Wont let you sink
drown deep down the sea.
Friendship not a shaking ship....

Idiosyncratic Arcadian
I’d prefer to live in a bygone era of
unsophisticated innocence

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no ideology of ideal idleness

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no sense of conscience,
no ken of moral nous and no subtlety of civilization

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was just absolute tenet
of tenacity as probity
in every inch of milieu’s existentiality
as of Mother Nature’s intrinsic innateness....

Premium Member A Red-Blooded American Responds
Forgive me for feeling the need to say
I am neither a Communist nor a Nazi,
I’m a red-blooded American who served
My country in the U. S. Air Force, and,
I have always stood up for what’s right,
And, when bullied, I am up for the fight.
Divisiveness here is getting out of hand,
And probity is not at all being observed
Even hinting that I am a Nazi is crazy!
Forgive me for feeling the need to say.

I Need a Pen
Oh the one above
I need a pen that fights
Mightier than all swords
Hence meek as dove.

I need a pen that bleeds.
Bleeds for truth
Speaks truth
And nothing but the truth.

I need a pen that weeps.
That weeps for probity
Regardless of corrupt creeps
Shows forth reality.

I need a pen
That appreciates romantism via Classicism
Even in folds of ten
I'll make it mature
Not in caricature.

Pose my pen strait
Let my scripts straight.
And let not my works late.
Prithee....
