The moon took possession
of the sky
a blank slate of atmospheric haze
punctuating
the seasonal sentence
of solar cycling.
Demanding possession…
nine tenths of the law
Last bone to fight over
—its marrow still raw
(Dreamsleep: October, 2020)
ghostly possession
welcomed by writer poet
who was out of words
Ill call you my muse
you are full of ideas
wish youd come sooner
To the Victor Spoils Possession
To the Vanquished
Their Soul's and Heart's
Their progenys future
Lost aghast
Both Present and Past
Beauty and the beast
Both have possession of me
Beast won't let me go
Beauty tries for mastery
In your eyes is the real me...

A land of destruction
With unmapped sense of direction
Fire set with singular flames
Powerful wind gone untamed
Mother nature's worst possession
Put it down to a grey-haired obsession;
Participles are a vexed question.
Even though it sounds quaint,
Elegant it ain't,
Robbing gerunds of their possessions!
God's love cannot be kept inside the heart
and locked up like a possession to cherish.
The soul who truly has God will share Him
so that others will not perish.
Intelligence is said to be in one’s possession----
If one knows where to look to answer one’s question

Which career path did you choose?
Does your gift give or take
I would the to be smart it’s the most
Prized possession of the dark arts
Sobriety
Lucid self-possession.
Clear-headed, composed, steadied
Abstention, temperance; Carouser, lush
Staggering, tottering, gibbering.
Intoxicated high.
Drunkenness
Possession wonderful mobility of thumb
Is an important feature of the human race,
That feature separate us from the apes.
But, for some people, it is the only one.

Dreams Take Hold
When Gods evaporate
men take possession
of their thoughts
walking hand in hand
with all
when we dig within
outward hate dissolves
illusions erased

Last Straw Trump Possessed
For a while now we stood aghast;
Trump had a tendency to procrast;
He is imperil;
Bottom of barrel,
And straw in possession is his last.

Object Of Our Obsession
Seems like object of our obsession,
Are arms now in people's possession;
To me occurred;
Completely absurd;
Idiot Trump and horrible impression.

Hush
their private moment
is none of your concern
whispers
harsh male sounds of victory
and possession
fire my heart
oh
oh
eyes close
and his his hands are on me
in my dream
A pearl more precious
than possession of knowledge -
If I had wisdom
beyond that of Solomon,
I’d have no need for wishes.

Once had a friend, Ken Steeles
With the girlies he sure had appeal
Outshone me I agree
Chopped liver was me
But my star possession was concealed

Young Robert Mitchum
just couldn't ditch 'em
His party down the toilet
when cops came to spoil it
When he then faced the judge
the law wouldn't budge
Sixty days he got
for possession of pot

Large, abominable
Sledding, happening, ornamenting
Sometimes I'd dream about snowballing

Caught and Distraught
He got over his oval office obsession,
Left us confused after making confession;
In lie was caught,
And became distraught;
Do not want President position possession.
Pocahontas
My arms are bruised
From those boxes
Filled with color
And shapes unimaginable
I’ll cut you open
Unveiling what is hidden
Something I must put together
And fold
Who will take this away from my possession?

Splashing, displaying, underwhelming

Swan song - A Didactic Cinquain

The mute sense dazed by trance adrift elusive,
never wavers a moment to lacerate
the endangered dormant psyche unwary.
Contrived by passion dream of pale possession,
sapped by nascent sunrays curtain pores suck in.
