My Little Black Guitar

I plug in everyday.
I strum 6 strings over and over.
The music I make makes me happy again.
But only as long as I strum,
can I enjoy the music made
From my little wood guitar.

Secret Agent Unhinged Translations

She was a daring escape artist, secret agent in her own maniacally complicit central intelligence gravitas, gritting darkly ravaged plug-in gray matter weapon of choice - unsystematic wordy tumult seducing unhinged recondite translations

Dematerializing the Virtual Atom

Expansion into light
The subtle radiant pulse
Power of tiny, flickering probabilities

Know the mind grows cold and stale
When impaled on doubt and searching
Fighting for clout and certainty

Universal gyrations plug in swiftly
Tempting magnetic minds to change their tune
Erupt in song, nature sings along

Life battery resets for new adventure

Premium Member A Brain Station

Imagine if there was a brain station for us poor unfortunate souls We could plug in our brains and brilliant thoughts would fill in all the holes It could be called the “Einsteinator” And with patience, sooner or later We'd be writing thousand word essays and the literary world would literally explode © Jack Ellison 2015

Blocked

I walk slowly, letting the rain hit my face.

I try to zone out and stay in my own little world to block the coldness out.

BAM!

A chill tries to bring me back to the other world.

BAM!

This time it takes me back.

I feel the coldness again and the sounds of yelling.

I plug in my headphones and try to go back, but the coldness is to strong and makes me

Trump's Solution

Trump's Solution:
Ignore pollution
Natural dilution

Our marine life has become plastic
The Japanese claim that is drastic
But Donald Trump said,
"That's over my head;
You know they're just being sarcastic!"

A fisherman on Lake Placid
Screamed that the water was acid
Then he fell in the drink
Like a plug in the sink
When he saw his worm go flaccid.

Wheels

So new and shiny

Such deep tread

So stabile and safe

Bump after bump

Mile after mile

Getting dirty and grimy

Caught the first flat

Plug in the hole

Much less tread

Did I take it for granted

Always got me there before

Another flat

Plug in the hole

Fix the road

No more flat

Wash you off

Old and shiny

Newer then before

Stress

The stress piles up like many books stacked up.

You push the books away, but more keep coming back.

You then start getting mean and tired,

And then you realize you should take a break before you let your monster out.

So you plug in your headphones and let the music take you to a relaxed new world.

Now you are ready to get back to work and not let the stress control you.

The Link

Neurotechnology,
a gift or a bane

With thoughts simply neurons,
case structure our brains

Is humanity destined
to merely plug in

Will all beauty and truth
be a programmer’s whim

And what of our history
that starts to rewrite

Will all paradox suffer,
conversation contrite

From Plato to Sartre,
one thing is the same

The essence of man
—will a mystery remain

The Talkative Weaverbird

Here in the beautiful Tororo Rock*
I grabbed talkative weaver bird,
That disturbs me every morning.
Before I wake up she sits up to sing;
Before I go to bed she comes up to sing;
But I let it go escort free in her freedom.
What better thing can I do to it?
Than grant her liberty to sing in freedom,
And carry her life around the rock

*Tororo Rock is a beautiful volcanic plug in Tororo Municipality in Eastern Uganda

Premium Member Balance

My balance is off, I am reeling
Last week fragile cord-walking worked
This week the cord is slippery
And the feet I do not feel slide away

I try, I try hard, I try harder
My body slowly recovers but my mind
My mind. I'm sitting in my bed
And hold my head, it's heavy

Being a cord dancer needs energy
That is not there. I need to sleep
And will plug in my recharchable me
Will take a small break till it says

Premium Member I Got This

I'll take care of it, you just do what you do
I'll make sure everything's ready and working for you
You just prepare to sing and to play
And I'll get it all set so that you may
Simply show up, plug in, and then go
And mesmerize me, you do that you know?
My gifts are the songs you deliver with style
I just listen to you, eyes closed all the while
Experiencing joy, the kind only you bring
That quickens my pulserate whenever you sing

Premium Member I Know When You Are Around

You put a blindfold on me, so I cannot see. I have a plug in each ear. This is so I cannot hear. I wear thick insulated gloves as such. These are to inhibit my sense of touch. Sticking my tongue out would be a waste. There is nothing for me to taste. All I have left is my sense of smell. I know you are near me, I can tell. A deaf, dumb, and blind man knows. There is no way to hide from my nose. That is because you smell like a rose.
