I Know When You Are Around

You put a blindfold on me, so I cannot see. I have a plug in each ear. This is so I cannot hear. I wear thick insulated gloves as such. These are to inhibit my sense of touch. Sticking my tongue out would be a waste. There is nothing for me to taste. All I have left is my sense of smell. I know you are near me, I can tell. A deaf, dumb, and blind man knows. There is no way to hide from my nose. That is because you smell like a rose.

Enigmatic rhyme Robert. This one reminds me of the saying "Love is blind and lovers cannot see their way" At least you can smell! Pretty dog you have in your avatar pic. I am in the process of adopting a dog. I think I will name him SWEETHEART. A mix of Pomeranian and Terrier. Thanks for reading my poems. I will visit you again next time. Love Dalila
