Pleas !
As Jesus was walking on water
He plotted to get God to barter
When God heard his pleas
He fell to his knees
And found he could swim like an otter
One drop of saline
Contained all her heart could give
Wishing for a whisper
A touch of hope or surrender
May love and peace answer her pleas

House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi
Her pleas please Democrats' hearts, pure poesy
Collusion, Obstruction -- Beseechment
Pig-headed President's Impeachment
WARM to me my love,do not cool
WARE am I,you made me your fool
FARE no further for I fear
FIRE extinguished by one tear-
FINE words might yet..ope your ear
perhaps
i'm asking
for a poor
favor from
you but want
to add to what
i'm saying that
i know you
could but
would you
if i say
please
por
favor
Form:
Tear out my hair
Rip up the pages
Life's never fair
Frustration its wages
Fear overcomes me
Inspiration flees
Bells toll the decree
Silence my pleas
its make you weak
for the beat
you just eat and eat
its hit the spot
when it melt hot
i love it a lot
i have a need some time pleas
to get my
STEAK AND CHEESE
I reach for your hand
But you don't feel me
I fall before you
But you never see
I cry for you
But you can't hear me
Because no one wants to hear
The pleas of a loner
Form:
The posse came a-howling for vengeance
The Senator must now perform penance
His pleas for mercy ignored
His reputation was gored
Beheaded by public opinion's sword
There was once a young man from Tashkent
Lost his job and couldn't pay the high rent
His landlord was clear
Pleas fell on deaf ears
So our renter moved out into a tent
I thought I’d have to leave my favored spot
and go inside this warm and humid day.
My pleas for respite must have been perceived,
for Nature sent a soothing breeze my way.
lonely longing fills
lifeless rooms where silence sooths
sad hearts fighting pain . . .
cry calm heartbreaking prayerful
pleas that true soulmates shall show
Jousting only because of the kings pleas,
lanced once too often feeling apathy,
drinking from cup,
holes sprung much,
feeling like a piece of holey swiss cheese.

Vainly searching who to be
Avidly yearning for more in me
Narcissistic jubilee
Isolated tendencies
Trifle bouts of insecurities
Yawning at the piercing pleas

My muse lays sleeping
ignoring my pleas to wake
wanting only to keep dreaming.
But I cannot see those dreams!

Lord, bless me to hear and see others unspoken needs
Before, their anguished cries or unheard pleas
Lord, Grant me wisdom while on my knees
Bless me with charity, in word and deed
Those who were laughing thought it a tease.
The butt of the joke though felt ill at ease.
It was banter to them,
but he felt condemned
and bullied, though contrary their pleas.
Peering at her as she sleeps,
nearing tiers of the devout,
smearing pleas on the glass as he peeps,
impotent, from the grass. He's about
to unfold the silk memoir he keeps,
and lovingly smooth it out.
Follow me.....
I wish to be,
One who is free.......
One who can lead.......
One with answered pleas.....
One who is able to flee......
One whom has forever inner peace...
Does thou wish to follow thee?
The cry of the dead
the wail of those gone
unheeded by the uncaring living
who dully carry on
Are their pleas any different
from the screams of those unborn
aborted by the uncaring living
who dully carry on
