Politicians are such liars. I don't think they have a conscience. Their only objective is to get elected and remain in office. They have no idea what their constituents want and really don't care unless they can figure out a way to put a little money in their pocket. As you can probably tell I have lost faith in my government. Sorry, your poem stirred me up:)

Daniel, I hear you loud and clear. I too have lost (all) faith in the government, and at all levels, including local. The last three Presidents (Obama, Trump, and now Biden), the current governors of Illinois, Michigan, NY, California, etc., and the mayors of Chicago, N.Y., Portland, Seattle, and on and on -- these feckless scoundrels have totally soured my outlook. Stay strong, Gershon
