memories of friend persist
Picture a moment in time
Held captive in a frame
Old memories come back to life
Treating us to glimpses
Of treasures from the past

Visions of a silver moon

Today, I was successful.
I wrote a poem, on a scrap paper, before tossing it away.
The sky is blue, and you are not.
Cook your chicken in a pot.
Thinking of you this morning.
Sending you a kiss via this selfie.
Write back or call me.

There a she is
viewed to the right
My willow aslant a brook
it is in her eyes
I remember
Still there her wistful glance
Oh my !
I still do love her
sitting close
is not enough
for entwinement
for if heart hesitates
magic of love is denied
and spontaneity is scarred
crippling vibrance of innocence
He had her
In his heart
And his pocket
As he left for war
He lost her
From his pocket
always in his heart
Your smiling photo never frowns,
the twinkle in your eyes remains;
I wish to step into that scene,
and cure my heart of all its pains.

Vintage photo hanged
In the defaced wallpaper
A remembrace of years
Recollected and encased
In the cedar chiffonier

Black and white photo
Of a great bustling city
Sentimental feel
Is greatest when the view glows
With pleasantly warm values

Mom said, “No sex before marriage,”
With rules she thought were quite sage.
But in her wedding shot,
I see a twist in the plot—
Was her vow just a part of the age?
i have them all
picture of water fall
and kids playing ball
i love to shot
i toots

WALL PHOTO
Family albums:
photographs that tell
different stories
from the lives we're living.
Old secrets frozen in time...
history in a flash...
mystery around the edges.
Atrocious breath on the brazen trout,
My dachshund backed out without a doubt.
Photo filled me with glee,
I’m so glad I could see,
My honest dog with his eyes bugged out.
Come on... smile for me.
Show me that big old silly grin.
Cross your eyes & say cheese ~

Have a blessed birthday, Kayla,
Have your pretty photo taken;
Click a selfie from camera,
Before you read the poem I pen.
Topic: Birthday of Kayla Macapagal (March 10)
May I please take a photo of your dog?
The man nodded
The wife said “that is up to him”
The dog gave him the eye
“perfect!” the photographer said
He snapped the photo and the dog growled.
No vivid re-telling
But in mind only
Which inconceivable realness
Of years, most approved.
And now, for the next hour's
Discarded mem'ry
Is everything, and of each
Dull moment so proved!
I saw a battled frame
housing a black
and white photo
of a hero
in war,
proudly posing
hiding his fear,
his fragility
some family's pride
and country's
creased,
in a junk shop
Like commode water
Once cherished times
Were flushed from the mind,
Cherished times pooled
Beneath observable wants
Leaving the pacifier of friendship
Resting between the lips of our souls.
