Anida Mann could dance Can-Can
And bare it all behind a fan
She never wed
But took to bed
Harry Potter and Peter Pan!
Above the moon and stars
come fly with me
like Peter Pan and Wendy
in a fairytale land
let's dream
for just
a moment
Michael Jackson
Modern day Peter Pan
A child forever, in Neverland
Even Tinker Bell became a Moonwalk fan
Written on 5/28/2015
The spell he cast
over the mast
they sailed so high
the endless sky
till dawn they flew
the morning dew
that mysterious man
was Peter Pan.
Not the sort to default or beg
You halt lunch to earn a nest egg
Yet Trump’s tariff plan
Needs a Peter Pan
To stop the croc crunch on your leg
Do you ever wish you could fly
Skyward with wings that reach the sky
Like Peter Pan
Like Superman
Passion of my youth engrained was I
Nobody knows why or when it began
Burger's and Fries only for Peter Pan
Guess you would say
Since he's that way
Picky Peter Pan was a fast food fan!
in Captain Hook's dream
Peter Pan is forever gone
Smead has a fantastic brain
Hook is revered
His crew would never mutiny
and his enemies have all walked the plank
peanut BUTTER
In a Jif Skippy made Peter Pan
Put it on bread
Peanut, salt, honey spread

Peter Pan, Pippi Longstockings,
Pandora’s box, plentiful play,
Pleasantries, primary, preferences,
Perfect, personal, persnickety,
Persevere, powerful, purple,
Playful, positive P.
Today I’m grateful for James M. Barrie
when he created Peter Pan
the boy who would never grow up be a man…
who said being able to think of happy things
is the same as having wings
Still, an angel inside,
Light bursting
From every corner of
Her smile,
Was deeply surprised,
When looking upon
God’s mirrored-eyes,
For the
Very first time and
Seeing her
Peter Pan Green eyes
The sun in London comes to shine
Above the placid Serpentine
And glimmer, glint and glow
Upon the statue of a boy:
Proud Peter Pan with elfin joy,
Surviving sun and later snow,
A pixie out of long ago.
The stars look pretty from down here,
Lying on my side.
This chicken doesn't want to hold me,
I'm too heavy for playground rides.
I'm not a child anymore.
At least I try.
Especially
After Strawberry Daiquiris.
Sometimes I wonder,
you and me...
We tackle things so differently.
I cook Green Eggs,
you bake the Ham,
I’m Tinkerbell,
you’re Peter Pan.
But “us” is great,
not “you”,
not “me”,
as friends, let’s climb
The Giving Tree.
There's a guy on the Soup called Chris
Captain Hook or Peter Pan is his wish
Boy his Blogs are so good
By this Canadian dude
His information sure is the Biz

There’s gray
in my beard
but no gray
in my soul
Where Peter Pan
flies
Cherub’s wings
in control
My edges
though silver
my center
of gold
One glance
never tells you
what prescience
— beholds

Unlike an opera Diva,
a writer hides his age
Scores to bear eternal youth,
a Contralto dies on stage
Ink reclaims the Land of Oz,
Dorothy to know
Toto barks—old lyrics march,
Peter Pan aglow
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2017)
Listen to poem:
Tinkerbell
Loved to cast a spell
With a wave of wand done dusted
Until her wily, wiggly wand got busted
Peter Pan
Troubles began
When his modus vivendi
Dust splut, spat empty

I will never grow up!
Me either! I scream with delight.
You can’t make me go to school!
Now we have a differing opinion.
Because I go to school every day
So, I can be around others who never want to grow up
And I am not talking about the children.
Do you really like to read?
Get some knowledge; plant the seed
Have a chance to explore
Fiction, biographies, and more!
Forget about what's on your mind
Peace and happiness you can find!
So read, read, read, when you can
Live a bit like Peter-Pan!
When you get lost in Wonderland
Or Neverland with Peter Pan
Having fun with the Darling clan,
I have always wanted to look
Right inside a storybook.
I want to see the Tin Man walk
And to see an animal talk.
Where can I see this?
Where can I look?
Right inside a storybook.
If I could fly like my hero Peter Pan,
I would be gone for sure.
If I could walk like a runway model,
I would step around the manure.
If I could quarterback like Mahomes
I would play ball day and night in the sun.
If I could sprint like Bolt,
I would do nothing but run.
A fisherman hooked him a croc
inside it was a ticking clock
The fisherman took out a jar
of Peter Pan,* said - 'Here you are'
The croc did thank the fisherman
as they sailed the sea to 'Never-Land'

*Peanut Butter, of course...
I woke up at three a.m.
Some call it the witching hour.
I call it the imagination hour.
I felt like something was happening, so I looked outside.
Saw Peter Pan and Wendy heading to the second star to the right.
“Straight on ‘til morning” a voice said in my head.
It was more than enough to make my night fabulous!
