Hi Maria. Yes, were it only so simple as having help from Peter Pan! I think one key to understanding all of this is to follow and analyze the flow of money into advertising and election campaigns. When we see a billionaire like Elan Musk funneling 10s of millions to Trump, one wonders what he is paying for. Possibly less regulation of his company by government so he can make much more. It will never be enough for these people.

SO, yes kind of a pun there in the title. The tariff plan could cause a lot of unnecessary disruption for people globally. It will also tend to increase the disparity of wealth in the USA and funnel more money to the people who don't really need it. We have a culture of money=happiness, which just doesn't reflect the reality of human existence.

Nette, too funny. I don't think there's a future income in this kind of work. I did see Colbert once in a men's room (he had just puked after a plane ride). His staff was outside and I asked if they would be interested in any of my material. They won't accept anything from anyone since they have copyright concerns. So it would have to be an on staff full-time job and I'm not up for that.

Thanks Arthur. It seems so surreal to me. I am amazed that people seem attracted to the wannabe dictator. It's a sign of education gone awry and some people wanting to destroy everything we stand for here. In the story of Peter Pan, I tend to think as Captain Hook as a Trump-like character. Unfortunately, this captain's destructive tendencies could affect all of us in a very negative way.
