Winter Reminders

Fireworks,
I drove past winter pastime from long ago
Today, the same bridge is in mourning
Lighted bright red
With timely reminders of loved ones.

Winnie-the-Pooh, from Hundred Acre Wood,
Love living there, carefree, doing a lot of good,

Premium Member Paddle Your Own Canoe

Charles lived in a castle
A castle with a moat
Charles had possession
Of a little wooden boat
When he had a day off
Which were far and few
His favourite pastime
Was paddling his own canoe
Around the castle moat
In his royal boat

Seagull

I’d soar from cliffs and cross the sea,
I’d dive or hover, screech and swoop,
And seeing tourists under me,
I’d take good aim and drop some poop.

(Every seagull’s favourite pastime!)

Premium Member Glorying In My Bliss

Sitting among my paints and glitter
reaching for a blank canvas
I smile at true me.

An artist, dream-maker, cartoonist, I
separate from regular snore bore life
Becoming more real than ever

I reach for my paint brush,
glorying in my bliss

Haiku Versus Rhythm and Rhyme

My favourite pastime:
crafting poetry in rhyme
but not so this time

Ordered by Debbie:
from your comfy box break free
haiku it will be

Debbie, what's with you
to rhythm and rhyme I'm true
I loathe haiku

I'll stay in my sphere
sans rhythm poetry's *****
Oops! I rhymed in here

the deeper the colors, the better the view
superior to any artificial diorama
a lovely excuse to spend time with you

wrinkled leaves fallen from trees
stare long enough, you will see faces

each loved one leaves memory traces

Question Mark Existence

walking the floor
regular pastime
not about you
more about me

tweezers and splinters
droplets of blood as blues
not about us
more about life

accidental klutz
lumps and swellings
not about happenings
more about hurting

dynamic stone teardrops
cubic zirconium crockery
not about pain
more about truth

Pin cushion

Success is drawing blood.
Follow in my tracks.
There's no rush.
Im not missing.
Just off the straight and narrow.
Open to facilitate.
Steadfast to invigorate.
There are drawbacks
But I take the plunge.
Time passed as pastime.
Days blend differently.
Its not my daily grind.
But it helps to get by.
