Omambala In February

Present since antiquity
Sustaining humanity
Participating in the dance
The seasonal variation

Tired and weak after the annual labour
As if the water is abandoning it's track
Allowing traders erect shops on her path
Awaiting the rains to replenish the volume

Premium Member The Closed Off Sit In the Dark Me

They are all cheering for their teams.
I do not care.
There is laughter.
It annoys me.
I used to run in there and join in.
Today I sit by myself with my arms crossed.
Not participating.
Not caring.
Not being me anymore.
Another cheer goes up.
Irritating the new closed off, sit in the dark me.

Olympic Games

The Olympics is where the worlds best,
athletes get together,
for the ultimate test.
Sixteen days, where young and old,
watch the contestants striving,
to gain a medal of gold.
All races, colours, and creeds, together as one,
forgetting all national differences,
by participating, and having fun.

Scary Dance

Immersion in a regal
carnage. Ash colored dawn
was gang-raped.

A bullet-ridden sexism
shuts out the fame.
Starts a chilling confession.

O, my orion
I adore your ruffled
stance. Do not make a kill.

Sunflower, why your
seeds were participating
in bonfire of a moon ?

They came for a sexual
encounter. But found a prism
exacting a gun.

Premium Member Busy Lately

HI. Just a note, that I have been busy with some things lately and I haven't had much chance to comment on others poems as I like to or post as much poetry. As I get through this phase, I hope to be back on track to participating as usual. I appreciate the comments I have received and the support, when I am able to be here. Thank you to all poets.

When the light shines on your face
an open meadow where nothing weighs
You are participating in a big moment
every flower, tree, mountain and river

    Nature is fertile
    even the most famous things
    is enigmatic
    a performance filled with beauty
Do you hear the whistling of the wind?

Premium Member A Wall of Brick An Emblem Poem

Look there,do you see the wall of red brick
          each upon the other:
            leans with great care.

One joined evenly next to the other
           bonded together in
           equality:

Participating in their purposes
          combining ,each their strengths
          the load to share:

Weathered with the storms of life on its face
           enduring through
           eternity:

Premium Member The Lover In Us

It is in small things we do
Believe it or not, love blooms
Mindfulness comes when we ask
The lover in us to strive
Participating in love.
For no reason at all, love.
Hands can hand us loving
In envelopes, on platters
Consistently, thoughtfully
Our rejuvenated selves
Climbs back in love with the world -
It is then a done deal, done.
Expects nothing from no one
For you have found love in you.

Self Improvement

Self improvement mostly
Comes with self learning,
Comes with self yearning,
Comes with self training,
Comes with self believing,
Comes with self understanding,
Comes with self helping,
Comes with self participating.

So, before you take action that smothers,
The self improvement of others,
Look at helping Mothers,
And Fathers,
Who don't want their children waiting on others,
To help them through life's bothers.

Free To Rise

Hope is fading,

I've been participating,

Patiently waiting,

Playing a game,

I'm secretly hating.

My health is fading,

I'm wading through debt,

I can't care for my pet,

I don't see an end yet.

I'm so tired of the hour,

Devouring my life.

Her's some Change for you strife,

I hope it satisfies,

Are the lies we're told.

I can only fantasize,

The peace in my demise,

So my spirit is free to rise.

- the mirror shows time of age ... the truth gives a bitter taste - Quote by the poet They said she ate children and the kids in the street called her the witch She can't bear to look at herself in the mirror stopped participating in social events The body was aged and dappled suspicious moles examined it was cancer A photograph hangs on the wall she was radiantly pretty - as in a fairy tale A long time ago

Neutrality

NEUTRALITY

Neutrality ideals fulfilled
But one must be so very skilled
Participating in each dance
Keeping that political stance

Neither one side or the other
Treating all men as a brother
No need to ever take a chance
Keeping that political stance

Protected from the pain of war
And dodging all the blood and gore
A sound proposal to advance
Keeping that political stance

Neutrality ideals fulfilled
Keeping that political stance

Inferno

Tiresome trivial circumstances
Never ending failures
On far off decided chances
Treat life as a purgatory

When will favors be sent my way
An opportunity
An immeasurable means
Out of this deteriorating abyss

This perdition of myself
Condemnation of body, mind, life
Endless abandonment
No savior in line of sight

Tramples hopes and expectations
Knowingly participating
In a life of agonizing suffering
No future for everlasting nirvana

Splashed Smiles Learning

Saving a memory
because laughter splatters
across the room
rolling, clinking,
splashed smiles savored
like wine-mellow
with bursts of flavors
rolled along the tongue

Learning takes place
better when there is
laughter and smiles
invite learners

Giggles, gurgling
eyes and teeth participating
who what questions
answers accents, soliloquies, duets
trios and groupwork

Sets of co-operative
silly making
blessing the room
where we learn

Premium Member Innocence

Infants are naturally propagators of this quality
No direct blend with vices and curiosity, also
Not knowing at all is a huge cover
Over such mind seemingly pure
Carnality is naïve even though it sticks around
Ego is still searching for shade to comfort in
Naughtiness and craftiness yet to rent in this mind
Completely far from participating in wrongs
Easy to detect but not only from countenance and outlook
