Stimulating Pockets
They claim they care
How their bank accounts fair!!
As your health, to paramedics, they leave
Their next loan tranche to sieve

From curfew to lockdown we flit
As on their ample behinds, they sit
While the masses hunker down
The deep state's in town...

Premium Member Take My Breath Away
Sirens cut through
the stillness of the night
blinding lights flashing
Police and paramedics
battle to save you

Chest compression
rhythmic pulses
desperate attempts
to breathe life
into cyanosed lips

Now you rest
under a gray granite gravestone ...
I’m bereft, I feel so blue

Blue Contest

1/7/19...

Premium Member Think Again
Newborn baby, a result of human figuration?
Have you ever seen a newborn baby?

Cancer victim releasing that last sigh
She reaches her arms toward the sky
Her face turns more peaceful
than it has looked for months.

Car wreck. Everyone should be dead.
Your daughter is the only one saved. She has a broken hand.
Everyone else dies.
You think the paramedics saved her?
Think again....

Premium Member Bloody Reflection
They ask me how it happened

They ask me why I bleed?

They see a man hurting

The flesh will soon heal

The years of bad luck before me

You managed to hurt me again!

The paramedics are stunned to silence

When I tell them what really happened

Why did I hit the mirror?

Why did I hit the reflection of me?

I saw your eyes in his reflection

I saw your faces looking back at me....

Easy Way Out
snap, twang goes my neck,
as i step off the chair,
the rope tightens through my hair,
the sudden break i'm glad i feel nothing at
all
i swing back and forth from the beam,
hanging off the wall
i gurgle with the last breath of life,
with nothing else to call,
the paramedics get there to cut the rope,
but lifeless to the ground i fall,
i don't have any more life to give,
but life for me is now to hard for me
to live....

You Set My Flue On Fire
You are smoking hot
You have built up my
Aromatic Hydrocarbons
Inside my heart

Igniting these feelings
I can’t cool them down
I have called 911 they can’t help
The fire department

Doesn’t have enough water
The paramedics can’t slow this beat down
My heart has been beating to fast
Twice as fast since I have seen you

Please stop this vibrating and pounding
I can’t take much more
I am about to exploded
You have ignited my soul...

Premium Member Monkeypox
I went to Walmart this morning - yes, it was very brave.
My dander was up - I was on high alert - for active shooters and the unmasked.

Then I saw him! A man on the cookie aisle - he looked like he had the monkeypox!
So, I kicked him in the nuts and ran - you can’t be too careful out there.

It turns out that he was just an 80-year-old retiree wearing a polka-dot shirt.
I apologized - from a safe distance - as the paramedics carted him away.

It felt like a close call....

A Bleeding Heart
Have you ever seen a bleeding heart?
Blood gushing out from its arteries
and veins?
Red splattered all around?
A compassionate man would rush in,
with cotton and bandages,
to try and stop the heart from losing
more blood.

Have you ever seen a heart bleeding
from inside?
Can you imagine how one feels his heart
bleeding from inside,
drowning in his own blood?

We are all emergency paramedics,
nursing our own hearts' wounds,
as we try to heal others
with a dose of love.......
