Premium Member Silent Fall
Listen to poem:
autumn rains leaves on path
shrouds lanes in aftermath

game is played on rope swings
love is swayed, fallout brings

swing falls silent, regrets
leaf palls its shed, forgets...

Listen to poem:
*Image of Lyre by LUT. 8 Lines Now Okay Irked shadow's occasions a Sun, Tolls a knell's lowly peal, begun. Ill winds bade the palls hovering, Time betrays caused uncovering. Inch thoust trek thy countenance hid, The belching rains down thoust forbid. In looms thoust melt of Luna's lyre, Thoust lieth in her soothing fire. 2022 August 15

Doldrums of Death
Doldrums of death
Beat like drumrolls
That final breath
When the bell tolls

Doldrums of death
Shrouded in palls
Leads to Lethe
When the trump calls

Doldrums of death
Sound like headaches
Cry of Macbeth
When the cord* breaks

Doldrums of death
Stab like sharp spikes
Placing grave wreath
When the clock strikes

*silver cord

Beyond Eyes
I have a dream
One which clearly calls
For Peace to beam
And not for palls

I have a dream
Where the young shall grow
Adapting to the special meme
Just to become the people of morrow

I have a dream
Every woman would become a damsel
And every man at the brim
In positions to give counsel

I have that big dream
To be who I want to be
To flow like a stream
And to be as boundless as the sea...

Seeking a light
Seeking a light

Winter chill rustles faces in fields of grey
Feet ponder in the reservoirs of rain
Gazes search the blue line for wavering light

Frosty strangers stole their light
Branches of sanity lost in palls of grey
Running away from the pain in the rain

Nobody hears their cries but the rain
Searching for hope from darkness light
Speculating why they stand in the grey

Lost in the grey rain seeking unique light.

Monster
Moon eclipses devouring lips;
wind is blowing, saliva drips.
Vapors lift on creature cunning;
moon is showing, blood is running.

The darkness falls and claws do reach;
the beast calls and its arms beseech.
Blood is running on graveyard palls;
the fear pervades and darkness falls.

Terror invades and vapors lift,
wolf is howling and my eyes shift.
Darkest Hades, fear is dunning
skeleton beach, but blood is running.

Premium Member Wind Begone Stand Easy
Listen to poem:
Where does this wind blow in from,
where has it been, what has it done?
Vanes it twisted, clothes it flapped.
Fog and smoke palls blown away.
Sails it tautened, eagles soaring supported.

Blow-ins are welcome with hair bedraggled
clothes disheveled, flapped to tatters
For the wind makes being untidy acceptable,
especially when facing upwind right in the face of it.
The wind will drop soon, and die away, begone
leaving the parade to stand easy....

Diving In a Hypnotic Trance
Moon smiles and night palls a velvet blue veil,
And owls and curlews hail with a flirting tale;
Xylophones and cymbals bounce for our dance,
So come sweetie; let’s dive in a hypnotic trance.

Premium Member Lackluster Shellacking
Listen to poem:
Feeling sluggish, shelled.
Lithely lingering in the dust and grime.
Palette grey and dull, devoid of crisp bright hues,
Brushes all furry, frayed, blunt, incapable of fine detail.
Apathy and complacency palls to gloom and doom in my room.
Inactivity and being non-committal, chokes the creative urge, to be stillborn.
But then, words and poetry flood into the brain during sleepless nights.
There's no stopping it.
Its spell, dispels the squashes, and quells the squishes to splats....
