Dumps soil from afar off places!

It’s the rip offs
The beat bags
The days of sweating
In the heat of addiction
Only here was nowhere
Nowhere that I never
Wanted to be at again
So I walked out
How poetic is free?...

Soccer
Spring is the best time to play.
Outstanding performances don't go unnoticed.
Cards are used for warnings or send-offs.
Creativity is a key role.
Everyone participates on or off the field.
Referees are important....

Lollygagging
Just the whiff of pink rose
growing outside my front door
brings my heart to my throat, stirs a desire
to don frayed cut-offs and white tee-shirt
and climb into the womb of my childhood fort,
to dream, to write, to lollygag to my heart’s content....

Eddie Jr On Eddie Sr
Says, the old man begs him
each time he visits him at
the nursing home, to put a pillow
over his face while asleep help end
his suffering,

but he watches too many C.S.I spin-offs
on t/v ,
and the old guy’s just not worth the attention.....

Premium Member Soft Is My Destiny
Soft is my destiny, gentle
Never rough, nor tough nor hard
Fresh as the daybreak, alive
  Diverted, the approaching storm

Happy landings now greet me, open arms
Gone, the fearful take-offs, the turbulent flight
Soft is my destiny, gentle
  Safe in Love's arms, unharmed...

Twenty-two Swans
Line the runway.
This years rookies
Practice take offs and landings.
A rapid splash dance
Followed by the whirring sound
Of fiercely powerful wings.
They will be gone soon
Leaving the pond to its ice.
Twenty-two Swans
Check out time is half October.

Cast-Offs
The old TV’s, with bulging backs,
Sit huddled with the trash;
Their value, precious once,
Has somehow vanished in a flash.

Discarded flat-screen boxes
Languish near what they’ve replaced,
A testament to modern times,
When cast-offs go to waste.

A jumbo flat-screen, I’ve been told,
Is one of life’s true perks.
For now, I’ll stick with what I have –
My old TV still works!...

their hair a distinct weird color like hers

pink witches of the sixties
with perfect make up
and red ruby lips

reminding me of Billie Burke’s
your originator must have been watching
the Wizard of Oz while designing you three...

Dones
Late fall, trees half dressed sway over glittering cast offs
The reach for charcoal and white waiting canvas
Pauses in now familiar hesitation
The moment shimmers alive
To dissipate in pink contrails
Of yet another unfulfilled sunset
Another thought train clatters into distance
Whence came this single tear
To well in unseeing eyes
Fingers hunt and peck in vain
to capture such a moment...

Today
Looking up to God
trying to explain that life is hard
His vision was lost within the translation
even He can't see the light
 Life goes on without pause
nobody understands the cause
 Juveniles carrying sawed offs
it seems humanity is lost
 Corporate monopolies
crippling the economy
Legal systems have become a failure
giving more time than people lived
 Creating second class citizens
building upon the poor...

Christopher James
Christopher James
Was a boy with curiosity
So many roads laid out for him
But he can’t drive anywhere
So legal
So sober
His future is going nowhere
While his friends are going everywhere
Leaving him behind
Off to become better
While he never changes
His black nail polish chips offs
As he spends tireless nights fixed on a screen
And that’s all he has now
Because no one is paying attention
To the boy who stayed behind...

Premium Member Our Lives Rearranged
So many times our lives rearranged
Resilient we are, accustomed to change

  Wars, Revolutions, Coups and Upheavals
Plunder and Pillage and assorted evils

  Recessions, Depressions, Runaway Inflation
Calls for austerity and eating food rations

  Bankruptcies, lay-offs, terminations
Then all of a sudden, rejuvenations

So go with the flow, and just do your best
Give yourself one leg up on the rest...

Summer Rain
Sounds of tiny tap dancers atop my tin roof.
Umbrellas and goloshes cast aside.
More tempting to children than candy or ice cream;
Mud puddles to splash in have arrived.
Earthlings so grateful, a powerful thirst had begun.
Relief from a long, parching summer sun.

Run-offs to falling ponds, giving to rise;
Aquatic creatures there sing to the skies.
Ignighting our senses when a whiff is obtained;
Nothing like the smell of a fresh summer rain....

Swans - thrump-thrumping
practice take offs and landings

Geese honk
file flight plans

Muskrats build
mud and stick domes

Beaver maintenance crews
make ready

frogs retreat
while the mud is soft

Osprey screech
above naked woods

A doe follows
a scented path

Turtles secure
their mobile homes

A woodpecker
sends Morse code alerts

The ice shell
creeps

Winter exhales
across the pond
