What have we done to our blue skies what have we done to our land
neglectful beings that we are we abused the works of His doting hand
What made us think that we were Kings in a Kingdom not quite ours
with Mother Nature maimed we're paupers, living on counted hours
Children toting guns to school
Abusive, neglectful parents
Child molesters stalking victims
Drug dealers at the corner
Thieves robbing homes and stores
Rapists violating women
Domestic abuse...
reported every nine seconds
People killing people
While the public debates...
the place of God in schools.
A deadbeat drug addict Frank was stark mean
A cheat he made all the money not clean
Neglectful father single
With him children didn’t mingle
He died in coma of Covid nineteen.

Made a pass for hope ascension
Honey wall no matter silly
Stumble strong tow tally dilly
Master Stein the corner set
Write a draft and then forget
Once a meaning fleeting fast
Like a heartbeat never lasts
Plastered will neglectful matter
Purposeful reduction chatter
Polymorphous agony
To dialect reducing me
A sweet disorder in the dress kindles
In clothes a wantonness; a stole about
The shoulders thrown, a fine distraction; an
ErrIng Lace, which here and there enthralls the
Crimson Vest; a cuff neglectful, ribbons
Flow confusedly: a winning wave (note)
In the tempestuous petticoat: a
Careless shoe-string, in whose tie I see a
Wild civility: does more bewitch me,
Than Art when too precise in ev'ry part.
The kids, just four and six, are running wild again tonight
and throwing things. Neglectful parents seemingly don’t see.
Adults expecting kids to raise themselves and know what’s right
without their guidance cannot have a home that’s chaos-free.
Wise parents show their love by teaching children how to act.
Respect and order, hand in hand, keep families intact.
Society at large will feel their positive impact.

I want to be on a faster pace
I would like to have a different taste
or a slight fresher dose of air
Cause these days
I'm dealing with this misery from my jealousy that happened from deceptive ways
I'm crying inside, I'm reaching out though I can't seem to get a hand
I'm wondering and searching for that one glimpse of acceptance
I'm neglectful plus regretful to which you might not believe
but forgiving myself is something I don't achieve
Cause these days......
We read in the papers
We see on the news
Our children of tomorrow
Battered and bruised
By neglectful parents
What did they have them for
And rebel leaders
Fighting their wars
Even in society
Our kids are prey
Gone tomorrow
From yesterday
Even natural disasters
Take their toll
In the streets they scavenge
Invisable food bowl
They are our future
In our survival apply
Why does it happen
Tell me why

The Last Walk Together
Shrouds cast purposed a dire malaise,
inscribed plaudits hallow tombstones,
absorbing bores coped brimmed blase,
a raised veil, e'er wet-eyes stream blued,
stays balanced, shifted acquiesce,
resume pace, neglectful of mood,
umbrae molds clear, a mien shone glit,
poised calm prosed a pious meek speech,
laid wreaths, last steps rounds a life flit.

She walks on clouds;
That cushions her gentle nature
She cries openly in the rain;
So that the world doesn’t notice her pain
She hides in the dark;
So that everyone becomes neglectful of her existence
She smiles brightly, even when sadness looms deeply within her
She stares out at world, behind closed windows
Just to witness the love that she yearns for
Sometimes the sadness in her heart is the only comfort she knows
And she allows herself to get lost in its depths….
