The chartreuse pearls hung on the pregnant vine
as whispered jade of leaves in autumn breeze.
The necklaces of trellis did entwine
like clefs of absinthe notes in verdant keys.

LOVE crystal blue seas,
with snow covered sands,
dreaming of this place.
Grass skirts, necklaces,
pig roasts and coconut drinks.
Soaking up the rays,
hanging 10 and snorkeling,
a FUN place to retire at.

or all the money in the world,
what you do need though, is Love,Trust, and understanding
those are the things, that can't be bought with all the money in the world
or fifteen tons of gold.
What you can get to be happy is, Friendship,Husbands,Wives,Children,Grand
children, that is love,trust,understanding,a life of morality, GOD!

black diamonds did not form on our planet
They are from outer space
Reputed to deflect negativity from the wearer
diamonds have a shine that rivals the stars
they look fantastic in jewelry – rings and necklaces
I remember receiving my first one in nineteen sixty-four
I have lost them, found them, and revitalized them
They always delight me
each with her own personality
as diverse as a snowflake
no two alike
comforting
wildly flowing
full lightness,
water colors
pressed in
minority green
and gentle
hearts dancing
like rainbows,
crafted
by skillful
winds,
smiles of
burning warmth
in overdue
meadows,
melting,
dripping
heavier
along
the edges,
stained glass
setting sun,
fiery
copper hues
and even shades
in between,
watched over
in coming
candlelight,
like golden
necklaces
of hanging
stars.
submerged in a watery grave
lies a mermaid from Atlantis
her skin glowed a luminous light
one small prick from a pink shell
and she crystallized into a vapor
tail fins like billowing scarves and
pearlescent aquamarine scales
flowing hair entwined with a seaweed crown
appeared once again above the water's surface
She sifts through the sand
collecting stones and brittle bones
to leave necklaces for small children
who dream her into life.
She wore necklaces of coral,
strings of pearls embracing her body,
glinting back at the broken sunlight
scattered across the sea floor.
Her glassy eyes gazed up,
somewhat worried, somewhat mournful,
longing to leap above the waves,
to sing that chorus of birds passing by.
Longing for her voice to take flight,
uninterrupted by ships sailing by.
She wasn't born a killer;
just cursed with a shadow of death;
and a sea that washed her bloody hands.
The vendors on the corners
Popped up everywhere like weeds,
With all that glitzy New Year’s stuff
That everybody needs:
The sparkly light-up glasses
Flashing 2014;
The groggers, horns and necklaces
To jazz the New Year scene.
The hats displayed are every type,
In felt or neon plastic –
Derby and Fedora,
Even top hats, quite fantastic.
Festivity’s contagious
And for puttin’ on the Ritz
To welcome in the brand-new year,
You’ve gotta have some glitz!
What are those The baby raccoon asked.
Staring intensely into the dark night sky that twinkled.
Baby bear and tiny rabbit gathered to help figure it out.
Diamonds? Rhinestones? Goddesses necklaces?
Their mothers sat back and listened, surprised.
They had never seen their young ones this interested.
Let’s always bring them out at night, one said.
The two others readily agreed, understanding the value of this.
Anything that stimulated their learning was a good thing.
Value is personal all cultures through.

Younger kids love to pet the mama ewe
while teens want to watch baby snake’s debut.
