Be Dazzling

~Be Dazzling~

Who wants to grow old?
Shivering alone, in the cold,
Beneath an old oak tree?
Not my bag of tea.
Refusing to age, so ungracefully,

Don shoes, gold,with straps,
A beautiful magenta dress, perhaps?
Sparkling jade necklaces that glitter.
Auburn tresses that equally shimmer.
Setting a man's soul...aquiver!

Nothing wrong with aging gracefully.

Very true, David. To each his own, right? I just prefer doing the samba on the way out with festivity. Others, like rocking chairs, not me. I hope I made that clear. It was a fun poem, only my silly way of expressing who I am. Plenty of ways to live for us all. Call me "ungraceful" it's OK. I love you no matter what...Panagiota)))))
