Mum had taken her jewellery to a safety deposit box in a London Bank. Ricky and his wife Robyn came to England after mums passing - they wore it, to get it through customs. Had an exceptionally good month at work treat ourselves to Rolex watches. A month later, hijacked in our driveway and a lot stolen thank goodness for insurance - 2 weeks later sold everything except for engagement ring, wedding rings and two crosses. Crime is almost zero where you live, wear and enjoy Jan Hugs Jennifer.

I recall you saying about the robbery, its so distressing in many ways. the poem is pure fiction I only had a step step grandma and we were not close xx

Ah, what a lovely poem, Jan. You will get much joy knowing you have some things she wanted you to have because she knew you would wear them! Very nice.

Your comment made my day Milton as its a work of pure fiction, I wish I had had a real grandma but mum's mum died when she was about 7 or 8 and then there were 2 step mothers, hugs Jan xx
