Mosquitoes
by James Edward Lee Sr.
Been bit, been stung now
I hit myself and then I...
scratch and itch bug bite ?

lots of bugs inside
downside of summer - zeal to mate
Love has limits - end mates
I suppose God already knows
Fire Ants are all over my toes
With gnats in my eyes
Relieved by May Flies
Mosquitoes evade all my blows
A long hot summer
Filled with mosquitoes and gnats
They are blood suckers
Leaving me with knots and lumps
Looking like I have the mumps
Mosquitoes realises biting
when they are touching feet
when they touched an ear
a noise seems whistling anger
why have tiny insects attack?
Mosquitoes buzzing
Watering in evening
Waking sleeping bugs
Just learned about syllables in Haiku. Sorry
The famous killer seven the great...
I killed seven mosquitoes
All of a Sole Played
I turned hero immediately,... !
A HERO NOW I AM...
Mosquitoes
Hovering in the humid night
Singing an eerie chorus on my distraught ear
Hungry swords & Daggers poised

Female mosquitos live forty-two days
Feeding on our blood in brutal mean ways
Causing itchy bumps on our tender skin
Healthy male mosquitoes die ten days in
Biting mosquitoes and chiggers do not take anything away
From the beauty of the orange sky over the marsh at dusk
Bullfrog music adds to the ambiance of the evening
by natural-
dog's tail will be curved,
cow's tail will disperse mosquitoes,
goat's tail will be motionless
even in knackers yard

Mosquitoes
Summer's pesky buzzy biters
Mosquitoes
In summertime everyone goes
(unless to show off like fighters)
indoors to thwart itchy-nighters.
Mosquitoes.
on the mosquito
before spruce biting fleas flies
the cottonwood tree
once again bitten
all over my arms and neck
by those mosquitoes

I saw the Purple Martins in flight
They swooped and dived to my delight
There was not enough Martins to eat all the mosquitoes
Those squitoes left ate breakfast for free on me
Shut the back door,
Let no mosquitoes in.
Or bites hurt badly, on your skin!

Flies buzz
mosquitoes sting
I try to whack them
they both have wings
Audiences roar
Politicians sing
The media attacks them
They duck the arrows, the slings
Putin would obliterate Earth
Kim Jong-Un denies Earth has worth
They want to destroy
Every girl and boy
They should try killing flies in Perth!
(and/or mosquitoes everywhere)
Beetles that crawl and fly,
Buzzing mosquitoes, too,
Busy ants working hard.
Bane of farmers, gard'ners,
Bothersome they can be.
Birds catch and dine on them,
But I think they're yucky!
Your garden is your retreat
From smoke and smog,
From gossip and blog.
It is your entrée
To all things Natural:
Carrots and Honey,
Flowers and Plants---
Mosquitoes, Flies, and Ants.
Behind the house
I stood in silence
waiting for my love
mosquitoes biting
coldness eating me
snakes hissing around
dogs barking at me
but firmly I stood there
praying fervently
for my love to come
We are all very hungry so let’s eat.
Ready for some fresh red meat.
I did not know you would go so low.
You are after my big toe.
We are all very hungry so let’s meet.

The mosquitoes swirl
in the mix with her soft
skin --
applause splatters
a melodrama
is presented, deadly duet--
malaria looms
A minute menace
niggles the baby's
mother--
high warmth within
Temples
Slightly open are my
temples. Mosquitoes need a
place to
rest. On the whole drinking or
bathing in
mosquito piss isn’t an
unpleasant or
a wrong thing
to do. It cures
diarrhoea.
summer mugginess
rain bringing out pesty pest
biting sting, quick slap
vile blood sucking mosquitoes
brush away annoying flies
