Premium Member Muddy Boots
I was never particularly proud
Hearing Mother yelling “For cryin’ out loud!
I have just mopped the floor,
Before you opened the door
Muddy boots in the house are not allowed!”

Mama
Mama said wipe your feet
I just mopped the floor
Mama said don't yell so loud
And don't slam the door
Mama said feed the dog
Then go set the table
Mama said you must cook
For I just wasn't able
Mama said a lot of things
Heaven knows it's true
But one thing Mama never said was
I love you...

"drilling Into the Walls"
"Drilling into the walls"

it smells like mop water
tell someone, tell someone
who would believe you

it smells like dog vomit
never mind get sick
tell someone, tell someone,
no one care one thing about you~

the true life of a slave
being mopped out~
with dust and mist

Glass of Wine
A fine wine
With glitter on its top
A transparent glass
And a floor well mopped

What else do they need
It's the wholesome joy
It's the cause of smile
Just like the kid's when he get a toy

But it will never last
As it will fall down one day
Leaving broken remains of the glass
For whom we will pray...

Short-Lived Joy
She pumped the air and whooped,
'The holidays are through!'
She danced a jig, she spun,
and did a moonie too.
The grinning mother yelled,
'They're back to school again!'
But then her laughter died,
she groaned in awful pain
and mopped her furrowed brow,
for she's a teacher now...

Philosophy of a Housewife
The furniture needs a dusting
The floors mopped and swept
The bathroom needs a scrubbing
The evening meal to prep

Dirty dishes line the counter
The laundry's in a heap
Pet hair on the cushions
The windowpanes are streaked

In such disarray, I'm overwhelmed
I really should get hopping
But, tomorrow IS another day
I think I'll just go shopping!...

Disabled
Even though my challenges do not always present-

They are always present.

Like a dripping that slows but never stops.

Perpetual puddles that must always be mopped.

It seems as if the distance between me and my peers-

Expands with my helplessness, that increases with the years.

Happiness must be maintained.

Through constant assistance, I can be trained....

What Is Wrong With You
Yes, it's male Sundayitis,
AKA masculine vaginitis,
So, it's footy Sunday again,
Your great god Baal of sin,
Ever tried to lighten up?
A smile on your dial of life's cup,
No, wake up and get negative!
Lucky for you I'm so positive,
Men, kill yourselves on the front grass,
I've mopped the floors, that'll last,
Always keep on smiling, I say,
For once, you can have delightful day....

Clean
I’m busy again.
Dusting, organizing, mopping.
Everything is clean already.
We already swept up all her old food.
And mopped her muddy paw prints.
It’s clean, it’s clean enough!
They say.
We don’t get less sad.
The house just gets clean.
We remember her favorite treats.
We donated them.
I ignore their calls and texts.
I’m busy again.
And I don’t want to talk about her, anyway....

2 B Loved Hate Myself In the Morning Doing the Walk of Shame
2 Be,

Is not be loved

In state of bare undressed

Neither is a cuddle

Nor soiled underwear opon bedroom flooring

After sexual contact after the fact

If all that's left is circumspect

Just luke warm hot release subsidies ever so quickly

Needed to be mopped up

Following by the walk of shame

Then what's the point

Of going through all that will

In the end

Will only make 1 hate oneself...

Inky
I cleaned the house with an octopus
I mopped the floors with a squid
I turned around and realised, exactly what I did
the kitchen floor was covered
with slimy blue black ink
the heating on it started
to kick up quite a stink
looking at the bathroom
the shower glistening black
I thought that I should clean it
before my mum gets back
but I haven't got the know how
the knowledge or the skill
so I think I'll got to bed
and just pretend I'm really ill...
