Mama
Mama said wipe your feet
I just mopped the floor
Mama said don't yell so loud
And don't slam the door
Mama said feed the dog
Then go set the table
Mama said you must cook
For I just wasn't able
Mama said a lot of things
Heaven knows it's true
But one thing Mama never said was
I love you
