A Leaf
Bellow the universe,
        i am only
        a loose leaf
        of the tree of creation ...
        monitored from remote
        by the gaze of God...

Premium Member A Dance of Protocol
Just because I remained silent,
trust me it still happened;
Adjust to make it all bearable
robust so emotions are monitored;

Talk is cheap so I just wander away,
chock it up to the writing on the wall;
Knock but I simply won't answer;
Padlock and avoid a dance of protocol....

The Prisoner
What is this life
If managed by all,
it has become empty and
withered
wrung out of vibrancy,
totally done with this state,
even a heartbeat
monitored,
a tremble
a word
a message
a line,
all this
and much more
checked through and through
so many prying eyes,
no privacy
much distress
what a life!

Orlando
Rainbow flags and Pride
are slim protection against
hate and machine guns.

[May the deceased rest in peace and the injured and bereaved have swift recoveries. This hatred must be better combated, or be better managed by those supposed to be protecting us. This could have happened to anyone. Groups that influence losers in society should be better monitored, both here and abroad.]...

One Step Across the Line
Be mindful, be careful,
for free speech may land you in word-jail.
Contrary counter-points are now
deemed suspiciously reactionary.
What was good and right yesterday
is slur and defamation today.
Agree, then do the opposite.
Play the game but find a covert way to cheat.
You must cross the line one step at a time.
Thoughts are now monitored
by digital watch dogs
remember this is not your father's line
this is a new line they drew
to pen you in more tightly....

Premium Member Broken In So Many Ways
As dusk dawned
     In hushed dark solace,
          Awareness battled
Comatose.

One question, pleading:
     Terminate this torment,
          Honour this last wish,
Yearning.

Only so much love can be lost;
     Pain be carried;
          Blood be spilt...
Horror.

In muted shine,
     Deadened voices,
          Monitored beep beep,
Kindness.

Salty moist wiped away
     With mellow moves
          In a tone that provides
Humanity.

Airport Fish
AIRPORT    FISH

Silver fish glide down to the bottom of the air ocean to feed.

Reprovisioned, they leap up again, well-behaved breed.

Seen from the tower glass panels they move in silent control,

Constantly, around the ocean, always alone, never in shoal,

Silently monitored by beeping flickering radar screen.

Their silver fins shimmering in sunlit sheen,

Silver noses pressing orderly, eagerly  in the air-bath;

Silver trails show their straight and narrow path....
