Premium Member Moms and Daughters-In-Law

Mom’s words cut like a knife, honed razor sharp
Which shattered my new wife
Mom now, after years of strife
Says I married up in life!

Premium Member Moms Know Thiese Things

Mom said she knows why cats drink from the toilet 'Cause it's cold... how does she know that, is she clairvoyant Teaches me new things every day Some kinda strange I really must say Could it be from experience, a thought quite poignant

Hall of Moms On Mothers Day

What, dear mother can
I say to you but, “thank you”
For giving me life,
My growing up and
My education, my wife
And my three children.

If Heaven has a
HOM (Hall of Moms), I’d
Vote you in with love.

Premium Member Raging Moms

While Mom is busy raging
  In what are kids engaging
Are they with her on the battle-line
Do they cling in fear to her hemline

Women screaming slogans shrill
Some consider this a thrill --
Once we scorned child-vaudeville
  What will raging moms instill

Premium Member Moms Beef and Noodles

No one in the family can make Mom’s beef and noodles
Lavishing them over her freshly mashed potatoes now
Her crunchy corn pudding is sitting next door.
Waiting for the crisp radish, carrot, lettuce salad to be added.
Pumpkin pie completed the masterpiece.
Hello Mom I say to heaven.

Moms Mothers Day

sometimes we seem so far away
even though we see each other everyday
as the time passes my heart sinks deeper and deeper
missing the bond we could of had
but thank goodness I had my dad
even though are bong isn't tat strong

and wish you a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Premium Member Moms Is Gone

Most knew her as "Moms", but her name was Jackie. When she was on stage, she was very funny. Moms used to tell us about the good old days. Her jokes and wise cracks had us in a craze. Unfortunately, we will miss this funny lady. She received her calling and has gone away. Inspired by another member's poem

Addict Moms

Do you really think,
We did the best we could?
How many time did we get high?
Before doing what we should.
Many times we chose to be,
Smoking dope instead.
While someone else fed our kids,
And tucked them into bed.
But its hard to be an addict.
And its hard just being me.
But ive tried to be the best Mom.
That an addict Mom can be.

Premium Member The Queen of Moms

She crowned herself the Queen of Joy.
The Queen of ideas.
The Queen of Six Best Boys.

Her sons thought it was cute.
Dubbed her the Queen of Moms.
Her daughters-in-law rolled their eyes and hoot.

Calling her the Queen of Helicopter Moms.
She went through life forever the Queen.
As opinionated and insistent as anyone you’ve seen.

No One (Dedicated To All Moms)

No one on earth can give the true love that you gave to me,no one can comfort my
pains or sorrows as you once did,no one can guide me with their words of
truth as you once did,no one can stand in my corner with all the strength as you
once did,no one can hear my cries as you once did,for you see no one can ever
be as you once were,MY MOM

Premium Member Maternal Algorithms (Poetry For Moms and Math Nerds)

I am the sum of the ages
beginning before my mother,
before my grandmother,
and before my grandmother's mother.

I am the product of their matriarchal choices,
the quotient of their actions, reflections, and self-images.
I am the difference of their generations.

And I bequeath the equation of this inheritance
to the matrices of my living legacies.

Premium Member I Posted a New Short Story - Doctor Mom

I have another piece that's too long for here - so it's in "Short Stories."

It's called "doctor mom" - about my mom and being home.

I know I could take things out - to make the piece shorter and fit here - but then it's not what I wanted to say *shrug*

Senryus about my
favorite - my one and
only - mom (so far).

"Mom!, I understand!!"
5 minutes later - wait, what did
she want me to do?

Eating my breakfast
cereal, “Mom!, let’s go to the
lake!,” Mom says, “Can’t.”

“I can’t wait to be
a lifeless professional,”
I say to my bowl.

Mini-heart attack:
Your mom says: "OK, I need to
ask you a question."

Premium Member tribute to super moms

super moms run the world
they know your business
their hearts are clearly unfurled

they zoom in and out day and night
soothing hard feelings,
making the neighbors feel right

they drop in at schools with cookies and such
your teachers love them
they have the magical touch

super moms know how to deal with daddies too
they cheer them up if they try to be blue

An Ode

Women

An ode to women
The ones that carry us
The ones that raise us
The ones that care for us
The ones that support us
The ones that picked us up when we fell down
Moms, nanas, meemaws, grannies, mimis
So many names for the first ones who loved us
The women of our family
Are the reason for our survival
They guide so we do not fail
But when we do they are still there.

My moms beauty

The beauty of her long black silky hair, and the amazing smile that lights up her eyes as she’s happy and excited. Mom’s laugh is contagious and it fills us with joy, when we hear it!! Mom’s brown chocolate eyes look so adorable, I have to resist the urge to tell her that I think she’s adorable and cute when I see her eyes look that way!! Her heart is full of love and never ending love!!
