I could say a thousand things about someone as central to my life as my mom.

Senryus about my favorite - my one and only - mom (so far). "Mom!, I understand!!" 5 minutes later - wait, what did she want me to do? Eating my breakfast cereal, “Mom!, let’s go to the lake!,” Mom says, “Can’t.” “I can’t wait to be a lifeless professional,” I say to my bowl. Mini-heart attack: Your mom says: "OK, I need to ask you a question."

I hope that, 30 years from now when you have a teenage daughter, you will go back and read some of the poem you are writing now. You will then completely understand some of the things your mom says, plus you will remember what it was like to be 17. In the meantime enjoy your teenage years, you will be a lifeless professional soon enough. Have a nice weekend, Ms. Vionet. John
