i call to my heart
to release my most deepest
thoughts and feelings
of life and love
passion and hurt
so many mixed emotions to hold inside

Premium Member Mixed Emotions

lost in this moment
my emotions mixed
i am red with rage
green with envy
yellow as a coward
pink from bashfulness
as i sit here confused

Premium Member Departure

time comes to say good-bye
long hugs and kisses
muffled by tears

a time of sorrow,
mixed emotions soaring
long overdue apologies,
truces ad compromises

Jerry's task, to 'Write a merry jingle'
Something to make toes and fingers jingle
He wrote of how his fat wife
Had been happy all her life
Won the contest, but now he is single

Mixed Emotions

As the days go by
I wonder why
I'm sitting here alone
not answering my phone
I walk along the river
and then I shiver
I kneel along my bed
praying for those who might be dead
I'm bathed in sunlight
and I feel so bright

Mixed Emotions

Mixed emotions are running deep
every night i cannot sleep.
i look back....
what went so wrong?
you haven't seen me
in so d*mn long.
we used to talk everyday
and you made everything feel ok.
but now you feel so far away
i cry about this every day.

mixed emotions arise within we know not where lies their origin perhaps subtle smells trigger memory the offering is a lucid dream like enchantment within which we frolic in childlike delight recognising clearly it’s ephemerality

And and On

And the moon is full, so round
and my head filled with the sound
and many mixed emotions fighting
and my anger always biting
and once again there is no care
and I can see the vision stare
and I do hate and love the same
with feelings that will never tame.

The Fading of Autumn

Autumn fades with a burning flame.
Deserted trees breathe,
savoring mixed emotions -
the hush before the absence of color.
Haunting melodies wipe memories,
suspended - going nowhere slowly.
Temperatures dip, and the grey winter
shadows cover the firelight.

Late Night

Late night....freyed and dozing
unable to pass the alert stage
tender eyes water and tear
Thoughts random mixed emotions
rage and forgiveness
Love and Hate
caring or neglect
tender or no mercy

tomorrow has silently begun
In the still dark home

Emotions won't let alone....

Premium Member Estranged

vibrational mismatch
attains escape velocity
burning bridges of love

in the womb of existence
yearnings of love yet await
return of the prodigal son

two ships cross in the ocean
mixed emotions arise
on reality of separation
and possibility of union
as ordained in timeless time

ELECTRIC WIND

electric the wind
low black clouds over laden
wet tulips thrusting

mixed emotions now
and i walking with shifting eyes
some winter left

black cat on the fence
between the pickets arching
calendar full moon

is wet the feeling?
the whole world saturated?
coffee dry quarters

Nowhere Was Home

I've lived in nowhere
felt it's edges
resided in it's blissful emptiness
marveled at the complete beauty
of what it's like to be invisible
I used to skip rocks in a lonely pond
just to watch the water ripple
and when the water finally stood still again,
I had mixed emotions
because nowhere was home.

Silence

paralyzing the minds of the innocent
destroying the thoughts of the happy
terrifying the one who know
that silence is the devil
it makes you question
everything
it makes you think about
everything
it makes you feel mixed emotions about
everything
it eradicates from the inside out
silence, itself, is a scary thing

True Colors

An angry sister who walks away
A sad brothers who turns his back
Me, confused, with mixed emotions, and blown up
Try to say what I feel
Try to show my true colors of red and blue
I try to talk and cry
I try to scream and yell
But I keep all that inside
But I turn around and when nobody is their
Then you know my true colors show

Impossibilities

I can't seem to express the way I feel. I just havent found the right words to say. but I hope that when the time comes, you wont take it the wrong way. I still want to be your best friend I don't want this to be our end. all my mixed emotions are being caged, and ready to break free. only Jah may know what these feelings may be.

Palette of Dreams

Colors of the sunset
painted on the sky canvas
mixed emotions
abstract thoughts
impressions of love
cloud strokes lost
a palette of dreams
sits by the waste side
a talent of words
a misguided brush
a nervous hand
so many imagines
can't comprehend
a gesso of emptiness
search for a masterpiece
a work of art within a universe of undiscovered
sunrises

Drunk Driver

My mom got killed, stupid drunk driver
now im an alcoholic and a stupid drunk driver
hypocrite or victim, i cant decide
im having mixed emotions, feels justified
so now i have a problem, at least thats what i hear
what about me, doesnt anybody care?
when will i stop drinking, will it be too late
when i get to heaven, will i be questioned at the gate...

Premium Member Love Letters

Like daisies in spring
Love letters do bring
To surface, mixed emotions
Heralds devotion…
Come winter, love fades
A satin bow marks day

Shadows appear long
Mocking hearts forlorn
Yet, it is only for a time…
Soon the sun will shine
Broken hearts will heal
The circle of life reveals

Mixed Emotions

Should the sky be blue and bright
When tears swim, wanting to run
Across my cheek and face
The taste of brine reminds me of pain
and joy, sorrows and funerals
Weddings and celebrations of life.
Tonight I am sad, hollow...aching!
Tomorrow the sun will rise
Tomorrow my tears will dry
Tomorrow my sorrow will be masked
Behind a fascade of a kindhearted face

Hangover From Ideas

When Im in deep thought
Please do consider bothering me
spire my unfound ideas
Leaving my mind gasping for more
Push my buttons to the floor
Do as you please
I want to feel mixed emotions
Show my anger and bravery
Allow my limits to be surpassed
Rate my capabilities
Anything that can help me think
Open my minds thousands of doors
Create and leave my head sore
