Like daisies in spring
Love letters do bring
To surface, mixed emotions
Heralds devotion…
Come winter, love fades
A satin bow marks day

Shadows appear long
Mocking hearts forlorn
Yet, it is only for a time…
Soon the sun will shine
Broken hearts will heal
The circle of life reveals
