Northern Flickers are in the species of Woodpeckers but they peck in the ground.
They are migratory and come through here in the spring..

She called it a Chanukah bush
But it was a Christmas tree for sure
The menorah sat right next to it
And a wreath hung on the door

She'd tell stories of the Macabees
And how Rudolph led the sleigh
She'd cook and fry and make desserts
For the meal on Christmas day

Each gift she'd wrap then tie a bow
On each stocking write a name
Without her here we all know
Christmas will never be the same
