White crepe rose petals
fallen. Onyx table top.
Charmeuse memories
shimmer: Cloisonne vases,
Peau de soie breezes wafting.
Sound of broken twigs
turned the ears of a lone wolf
Memoir of his ex
tainted his way to true love
sound of broken twigs -- She left
May we all be blessed each night…
as we write that day’s memoir…
to begin by listing our blessings…
to see how luck we really are.

Do not let your words die inside
That advice makes me a teacher-poet
Don't judge me, we both have the right
To write: death comes before we know it
Meandering slowly a crystalline memoir
that signifies, unveils the strife
furrowed deeply in her heart.
Encapsulated in that salted bead
Anguish liquidated.

Shall I beget a memoir of your fairness?
Shall I compose words about you?
Shall I beget a poem that will live through
Centuries and sculpt your history in the poem?

To round and round go

Hands off the handlebars

There was a lady, in nineteen nought three,
Whereon Christmas day, she bathed in the sea.
But when her swimming suit tore,
The crowd shouted out encore.
Just like, what the butler saw, well maybe.

I loved all the beginnings
Though the ends collapsed in tears
I could not console them
Busily I hid my trembling and fears
And you could not talk to me
For you too were a new brutality
Along the road I took to love
I now know eagle's cannot be doves
There once was a story quietly told
A memoir was embrassingly bold
A lady took antacid
For she was very lucid
As antigas formula own tale rolled
Lucid means here easily understood

Memoir Of A King
There was a man who was, a man of men.
The leader of all leaders, king of all kings.
The father of all, the word of time.
Now, he is the spirit of all.
His voice cries with the wind.
"Free at last, great God, Almighty, free at last."

Dare then to think
How times now link
Speak well of fate
But don't be late
Cheer moves each step
Work your mind map
Seize joy of heart
Where grand things start
Soul knows sure way
In happy play

It was a teddy bear
Just lying there
On the floor
The baby had thrown it out
And then cried about
But the gun ended it
In father’s mental fit
No need now for a bear
Or a father to care
Silence so deafening
The air now thickening.

Drowning in my bitterness
and the smallness of reluctance
I refuse again to see
what life has gifted me unclaimed
Falling back into the prison of my dark
unfolding memoir
Drifting lost into an older time
— negativity holds dear
(The New Room: May, 2024)
My young son runs up
the slope of the lawn
toward me.
There’s a large peony bloom
in his long hair,
I guess he put it there.
I am not sure what to say,
or think…
let it be
he is more beautiful
than I ever was,
and we both share a love
for pink peonies.

Page after page
Words set odd tell
Stage upon stage
Tales prompt crisp dwell
Line after line
Words offer gist,
Wine in grapevine
Lost in the mist
Odd verse make good
As change trips style,
Brisk rhymes flood mood
In oozing piles.

When they first played 'Let It Be'
I heard whispered words of wisdom
An answer came from Paul McCartney
Puro alto, sprouting wings of ecstasy
The light shined on, yet dim the night
Mother Mary came not in daylight
Quenched the notes from John's guitar
Let It Be... finale ~ mystery memoir
delightful misery, remembering pasts so torturous.
i love them all with a fiery hate.
they could never save me, but i did everything to love them.
trudging through this world with the thoughts of so much pain.
i am no longer human, as i am a machine.
no emotion, no thoughts.
i live just to watch it all go by.
