Has it really been 51 years now?

When they first played 'Let It Be' I heard whispered words of wisdom An answer came from Paul McCartney Puro alto, sprouting wings of ecstasy The light shined on, yet dim the night Mother Mary came not in daylight Quenched the notes from John's guitar Let It Be... finale ~ mystery memoir

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Jennifer. The music industry may never know a period like the 60's again. What do you say? Happiness and Joy, Gershon

Interesting comment, Vijay. I actually was more of a folk-song kind of guy, but certain Beatles songs, such as 'Let it Be' and 'Eleanor Rigby' were moving, I thought. Thank you for support and encouragement. Musical Magic, Gershon

Thank you, Caren. What followed? -- The Stones and 'Let It Bleed?' Was it jealousy on their part? Was it crass commercialism? -- Probably a combination of both. Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving! :) gw
