Demain Matin
timid forest animals watched her burn
as white flames melted the frozen ground
and turned their world from mythical to hermitical

it was the day the splendid highlands corroded...

Une Journee Sombre
Béni vos ombres
Il est temps de vous avancer
Je vais vous le montrer
Laisser le matin vous embrasser
Avec bonheur enchanté
Lumière éclatante
Votre amour clairvoyante
Bénidictions des cieux
Miraculeux
Avec la pluie
Je vous bénis
C'est moi qui te remercie...

Iridescent ivory beams
stream
through trunks
lining the lane
as through stained glass.
Rubies and honey glow
in the leafy tempera
of a sistine oak canopy.
In the sable silence
of autumn's crisp matin
I look up to see Adam
reaching
to touch the hand of God....

Listen to poem:
du coin de l’oeil
j’ai cru te voir ce matin
        ton visage tes yeux
        ton air ta démarche
ça m’a coupé le souffle
 j’ai figé là
croyant te voir tourner
les yeux vers moi
        j’aurais tant voulu
        courir vers toi
        te sauter entre les bras
j’aurais tant voulu que ce soit toi

There Is Nothing More Beautiful
A Paris night,
There is nothing more
beautiful.
Late night walking
through small streets.
The metro, underground
is dark and mysteriously lovely.
Up into the nightlife
emerges spirit from
all.
Twinkling in spots all
around, the music
of the Parisians
sounds.
Like happiness wrapped
in a starry bow
but with wide awake yet
sleepy eyes.
It watches us slowly
wind down
into a café espresso and a
“Bonne matin, madamoiselle."...

I glory in the soft whispers uttered
As dawn flutters in soft shades
Of rose and royal purple mauve
And muttered of the splendor escaping
From delicate cobweb artistry
Draped in cloaks that glitter
With the shimmering stuttered sound
Of wind chimes stroked
By humble matin prayers
To greet the morning glory blue
Of fluttered grace like cooing uttered
From soft gray mourning doves

Premium Member I Hear the Winter
I hear the winter call my name
in syllables bereft of breeze,
ethereal through silent trees
hypnotic in their leafless maim.

In sheerest blue of morning freeze
the shadows drape from rimy limbs
while through my head a matin swims
that beckons past the boundaries

of culture's polished monotone.
I'd ramble the denuded scape
past hoary waters' icebound gape,
to arcane winds my caution thrown.

Across the dawning's lambent sill
the winter calls. I hear it still....

My warn croissant is all mine.
Go away, dog, tis not thine!
No need for you to whine!

                Try my delish hot coffee!
                Way hot, do you see?
                Please, stop pestering me!

He left the room, me forlorn.
                Chasing a loud car-horn.
Ah, my day of peace was born!
