Premium Member in the bitter

concrete cold detroit manhole steam....
brief warm no homes veterans huddling

visions wars hell traffic taxies blur.....
city brittle in the bitter

Premium Member Bank Robber Blues

A bank robber named Billy O'Dell
Ran from the crime scene but he fell
Down a gigantic manhole
Dropped everything he stole
And now sits with a sore head in a cell.

Betrayal

Mercury nights unrelieved
betrayal passionately suggests
Our future- parallel in jest
From jumping many potholes
Freewheeling college enterprises
Found my candle beside a manhole
Your tongue is dirty like fame

Ode To the Mobile Phone

As I gazed up and down my street ,fellow neighbors never stop and speak Three neighbors held their cell phones hiding their facial expressions. Saw and heard me not when i yelled be ware an open manhole is in your direction. So I watched my two neighbors continue on.

My Foolish Footle Mouth

You lack
mouth tact

impress
wear dress

friends dress
loud mess

Mouth rude
foot booed

Feet flee
can't see

Manhole
fall, roll

You pout
climb out

Hear steps
regrets

Friend comes
your done

Chit chat
eyes bat

Shrugs, hugs
grin mug

Mouth sock
ziplocked

Premium Member Watch Out For Manhole Covers

If you are in New York City
Where smog makes the air not so pretty
And a manhole cover explodes in the air
Run as fast as you can, get out of there!
These covers weigh three hundred pounds, these bad boys!
You will hear them pop off, for they make an incredible noise.
They can explode up to two stories high in the sky.
If they hit you on the head, you surely will die.

     I never get this one.........though it's
results are delightful and uproarious fun!

Mankind with its paltry pretense of perfection, like fools,
step in a manhole, whilst going in the wrong direction!

Egg on their face, is such a great delight to me.
Pride, vanity and ignorance~ Divine, magnificent, buffoonery!

I Kicked Bill Clinton's Ass

Bill Clinton called me stupid so I called him fat.
He took a swing at me and I didn't take that.
Now Clinton is living in a whole lot of grief.
He has to gum his food because I knocked out most of his teeth.
When I hit him a second time, he fell in a manhole and got stuck.
People came by and started peeing on him, he was out of luck.
I guess I made an enemy instead of a friend.
Clinton swore never to mess with me again.

(This is a fictional poem.)
