I fear the loss of love so much
It trembles deep within
My heart drops cold and heavy;
Inner strength a shallow thing
When she walks dreaming out of my life;
Taking the colors of my world as she goes,
What a good woman she is;
I should not consider the possibility.

So I dread to be alone with my fear....

Nor do these seconds have meaning.
Although you separate, it is not painful, and I do not fear you.
