Japanese Tourists
The chirping evokes
the poetry of Princess
Shikishi, who logged
deatails in tanka of the
world and its soul as
Enola Gay logged shadows
on walls in Hiroshima...

Occasionally
Occasionally, when I am drowning, you rise up from that deep sea, and though my mind is water-logged, you push my dream-body to shore, where you breathe your soul into mine.

Wet Mornings
post drizzle-logged
morning trek;
leaky boots
puddle splashed
sodden socks
peeled in a pile
by the door;
coffee's pot's
pungent pull
awaits
post dried off
head and
towelled feet....

Clouded Love
Love and lust at the center of your lips,
Tell of wonders between hips.
As we let our body sail in desires ships,
All logged in a sinful manuscript.
So too does the sun let go of morals,
As its sinful acts, is clouded by an eclipse....

RAPID FIRE SEASON SHOT

I am lock and loaded like a rifle
Catorised logged in yet still awesome
And who an I to tell you
Who am I to go through
Without a reason
I pass the four seasons

Rains Or Tears
Rains on leaves by leaves
magpie exudes the raindrops
Logged rains stop me

Yellow envelop
Full in the messenger box
Greeted free pink words

Not now, but just now
Waves of lips on the water
Kissing viral eyes

Premium Member Piece of Cake Want Some
I want a taste
Of the piece of cake
But the frosting now dry logged
Left the top off now the flavors gone
Threw the remains in the washing machine with bleach
Made a malted shake when looking at my blurred image
You want some you wanna a taste

Listen to poem:
Tell Me Something New or Go Away
David J Walker

Tell me something new
	That I already know
To be true
	Otherwise

I won’t believe you
Not a single
Word you say

I can’t conceive of any tomorrow
Any different from every
Yesterday

 logged in blogs
Along the way

Tell me something
I already knew
		Or go away...

Shopping Slots
I logged on the world wide web today
I tried ocado, it said go away!
I went to Waitrose and Tesco too
I had to wait so long
that I went to the loo
I came back
and had a snack
and watched the queue go down
eventually I got on to Asda
I booked a delivery slot
and loaded my trolley
by the time I checked out
I felt rather jolly!

(I wrote this one a good year ago!)...

Where Could I Find Thee
Where could I find thee?

Plunged into waters deep and depth
Flew into blue high to get a clue
Ran 'NEWS' round the globe's
Scanned the cues found no views
Searched in the fire wide spread dear
Ringed on the 'wire' to ask every near
Logged on the net World Wide Web
Tried every woods fine with bloom's
Nowhere could I find you, why?
Except in my heart and soul, hey!

Premium Member I am a Virgin
I am a virgin, I have never been touched by a man since I was created.
I have never known a man, I have never been logged, my features still remain intact.
I am a rainforest based in the Amazon basin of Brazil.

No logger has touched my growth, they come and go naturally
Life cycle turning full circle.
I am a virgin, I have never been logged by a logger.
I am a rainforest based in the Amazon basin of Brazil....

Sovereign of the Seas
She launched into sea in 1852,
And was build by Donald McKay.
She sailed from Honolulu, Hawaii
To New York in a whopping 82 days.

She set the fastest speed ever recorded,
On her second leg voyage for a sailing ship.
She logged in at 22 knots/25 mph,
Over a 24 hour, 400 mile trip.

She loved to sail the open ocean,
Sailing away with the breeze.
She was a Bostonian Clipper Ship,
Named the Sovereign of the seas....

Premium Member To the Italian Poetess, From the Highlander
This Saturday morning
As i logged on to the Soup
A blog i read
Left me cock-a-hoop

Our Italian poetess
Has decided to stay
So we can read and comment
For many a day

In her writing
She has her own style
Some make people worry
But make many people smile

This Highlander can say
With a smile on his face
That this Italian poetess
Is back home, in her place

In the event we go out, make sure you have logged out from the internet.
I have a perfume business, I have mastered dozens of scents to the point I know what my client needs without a sent whats app request.
I trip severally, that’s when I remember the saying everything is not meant to be.
It is after lent period that Jesus told His followers He’ll descent.
Until then, I always cement my relationship with God to avoid the devil’s torment....

Silent Presence.
A silent presence
Gathering shelter
In verses stricken
Under logged curses
For serenity of moon.

There you fell asleep
Lulled by aftermath
In frozen tears
Shed by the rose
At advent of dawn
Dripping with dews.

What use of inviting fancies
Half buried under the sand
Depicted in pictorial reliefs
Discursive galleries
Of the ancient lands.

To seek consolations
In verbal episode
A smooth searched
Cannon
In liquid quilled verses....

Time Slot
Have you examined time,
at close angles,
we are in the habit,
of dividing it in slots,
there are slots in which we work,
and others which are important,
some slots overlap,
in which we work,
and they are important too,
have you logged such slots,
and totalled them up,
what proportion of 24 you do get,
you would be surprised to find,
its not even ten percent,
in cases most,
one would rather say,
opportunities are limited,
and come by few....

for Anna Akhmatova

This is easy living
Waiting for the Muse to arrive
whispering sweet lullabies
into my plume

You may get a bout
of insomnia, or
wake up before sunrise, or
stay up into

the wee hours
of the night
But it's all part
of the scenario,

the mysterious existence
that transforms the mundane
into kaleidoscopic dreams,
magnificent realities

consolidated onto parchment
or logged into your laptop,
into the realm
of earthly concrete....

Comfortable as an old shoe
One that has finally been put out of use
Found a new function

That is what I had become
With you..
When I would read what you had to say

The lines almost fit me to a tee
The timing was so right
My emotion you had captured

I would get my thoughts together
Visiting those familiar
Reading, seeing those winners

Grateful
I just logged in on the Poetry Soup Home Page My photograph appeared as if I was on stage. It was among the members of premium stance so I blinked my eyes and took a second glance. So surprised, I think my heart skipped a beat I wonder who could've done something so sweet. I may never know who is so generous and kind "Thank you" from my heart. You're on my mind.
*My sincere thanks to the one who wishes to remain anonymous....

Premium Member The Fabulous Me and the Resentments
I've toured the world and lived life hard,
Sordid tales I can not hide.
I've logged some miles, they're on my face
And in the baggage by my side.

I've made poor choices in the past.
Tried hard to let memories go.
But sometimes scars don't fade away,
They stay to help you know.

Every day my satchels packed,
Carrying acts that need repentance.
Swinging on the shoulders of my all girl band
The Fabulous Me and The Resentments.
