Dirty Limerick

Once seduced by his junior coworkers
Old man took his dates to the lockers
They used penile tweezers
And shagged like young weasels
Too bad he forgot beta-blockers

Loud Drum

There once was a thin young man from Yonkers

Who with his drum drove his neighbors bonkers.

Gave it beat

With more heat

Till fish landed on him from near lockers.

Foot Locker

how long
is a foot locker
and what
do they keep in it?

foot lockers
foot solders
foot long hotdogs
footballs
what is the obsession
are they politically correct
or are they just a foot fetishes
at the foot of my bed

Lockers Work

The colors of the world fade like moss into the lining of the tree
It becomes one with its surrounding
A student doesn't make themselves known
A book doesn't speak to its audience
They have to take the time to listen to the words written within its pages first

putting stuff into a storage locker

When you throw things into a storage shed
You are spending money on rent every month
Sometimes for years
Finally, you decide to look the stuff over
None of this was anything you should have kept or paid rent on
At one time we had three storage lockers in three states
It took me three weeks to clean them out
What I decided to keep fit into a small purse

Basketball

As you can see,
This game is between you and
me.
I try to shoot,
But I realize that I'm wearing
boots!
Where are my sneakers?
Wait, they're in my lockers.
I tie my shoe laces tight,
With a smile that's shining
bright.
I'm running to the hoop,
Trying to shoot.
SCORE!!!
I'm winning this game,
The crowd are screaming my
name.
I finally success,
This game is the BEST!!!

Fair Game

If it's a fair game all can win.
If it's a fair game the running
and sweating is equal
and the results can be timed.
If it's a fair game, when the clock runs down,
no miracle is asked or given, no tricks unveiled.
If it's a true game,
a zero sum invites the victor
and consoles the loser to lockers
and fifths of whiskey.
If it's a fair game no writing is required,
no comma misplaced.

School Breath.

school breath,
hot.
a reminder of everything ingested.
unable to clean,
only use a deoderant.
cinamin burning the germs away,
but burning the taste buds,
leaving my tongue smooth,
slick.
only a more desireable form for bacteria to breed on.
and i wonder how they kiss,
leaning against lockers,
with open mouths,
sharing the oral dirt.
school breath.
chains keeping my tongue locked away.

First Day On Your Last Nerve

The books are off the shelf
Teachers are heading to the nearest coffee machine
Noises echo the elongated hallways
Time has betrayed you
Loud thuds of lockers slamming abruptly
Could it be?
School is currently back in session
The dreadful feeling of the first day
Routine is once again included into your lexicon
As sure as the moon smiles,
The sun shines onto your supply list
The beginning of a tragic ending

The Last Day of School

Tis a lovely day for students are glad
The last day of the school year is anything but sad
No more assignments to study nor papers to write
Students can deal with William Shakespeare at next year’s fight
Textbooks have been returned and stored away
Lockers are cleaned out with nothing to stay
The students rejoice with the last bell’s ringing
But the teachers are doing a happy dance
And tis they who are doing all the singing!!

No More

Today I realized everyone is moving in a different direction
I knew before graduation I had to write you this reflection
Lives are changing and lockers are no more
High school was just one big bore
Lives were shattered
And nothing ever mattered
We tried to smile and fake our laughter
There’s no such thing as ever after
Some our moving out
And our futures hold a lot of doubt
I just wanted to say that some of it was fun
But it doesn’t matter because it’s all done

The School's Phantom

The lockers are beaten and bloody
Running water makes the floor muddy
The windows are cracked very sharp
Hallways are black with the music of a harp
Thoughts filled our minds
Wondering what will we find
The tunes of life, The sands of time
We fear we've reached the end of line
The windows were never broken
Realizing now shadow is the last token
We hear a voice right after
Sounding as if it is laughter
Telling us all we are broken
"Again ever after you will see a new token"...
