'Twas so hot that I shivered
My lips so dry they quivered
Salty tears clouded my eyes
my plumbing bowdlerized
Aylesbury duck in port
Currant jelly sauce
Bucks bread with beef dripping spread
Then cherry bumpers;
Dandelion and
Burdock brew
Whew!
dwalin fosneys working fame
brought woodworkers daily shame
census then taken
one morning bacon
found his limbs joined to a frame.
"I tie the shoelaces together on my dead," says my local mortician,
"because if a zombie apocalypse were ever to happen,
it will most certainly be an hilarious situation."
The votes of the folk of The Vize
Be all Tory, well there's a surprise
The hills are all blue
With a loud tally hoo
What's to do? I don't know but one tries

Had some blood taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her nursey attire
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For her afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
Had a sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire
A brawl broke out at the local plant sale
The normally meek started to flail
Their begonias and orchids around
Geraniums were ripped right out of the ground
Look at them wrong and they'll fight you without fail.
Had a blood sample taken by our local vampire
Saw traces of blood on her teeth when she smiled
She drew an extra flask
For an afternoon snack
She sure looked scary in her vampire attire

I remember an old coot named Sam Ball
For him many a young girl took a fall
He was a lecherous old fool
Yeah, I would say he was a ghoul
Young girls ran away when he came to call.

Once lived an energetic lad in Montreal
He was rather large, I would say, seven feet tall
Tough as old shoe leather
He did not care whether
He played with varsity team basketball, at all.

A surly old codger in Panama City
Said of the annual tourists "What a pity!"
Groused at the snow birds
With crudest curse words
While chanting a mariner's naughty sea ditty.

Old local mill stands
A shell of stones
Abandoned
In the times
So long ago
He was a child
Running through
Tall grasses
Dad grinding
The flour Mom
Needed to
For daily bread
Now it stands
A shell of stones

Vigilante wannabe
Intentions always good
Lost causes are his nemesis
Loyalty his strength
Abysmally annoying
Gauche socially to say the least
Egomaniac~ there’s one in every village

Bussing immigrants to high-end neighborhoods makes immigration status worse. After an Ecuadorian women gave Heimlich to a man choking on a Scampi, she was once again bussed elsewhere without a single thank you. People in these areas reported people being saved by these immigrants. FYI: everyone in America are immigrants
Local news
Elderly woman hit by a bus.
She was elderly people,
So what's all the fuss?
She had a full life,
What more can you say?
These elderly people,
They get in the way.
When you are old
You should stay at home.
What was she thinking?
going out all alone.
And as I read on I thought,
Can this be?
This elderly woman
Was younger than me.
The lunch
It was a beautiful autumnal day
The colours after rain was green and auburn,
I stopped at an inn had beans with
onions and bits of pork.
Great food, but I should have known it is
a food one ought to eat at home.
Police patrol, an officer with shiny boots
that appeared to reach his elbows, opened
the door, then quickly closed it
wishing me a good journey.
In the neighborhood, some conqueror born,
Another color blending with fawn:
On his forehead, a sitting half horn.
In the flesh of the rest, a thorn
But among them just brightly shone!
All his moves of leniency shorn…
The others offering only the chances to mourn.
All these, after their True Champion was gone…
Nothing else Local Champions fully trust,
Their ungovernable hands of iron, a must.
Porky Pig and Dairy Cow-Moon
did up X-mas at the local saloon
Where Olive Oil and Pepe le pew
had already downed more than a few
Porky Pig and Cow-Moon
joined in by singing a tune...
But when they courted disaster
by all getting plastered
They were tossed out on their keisters
~ and didn’t get sober ‘til almost Easter
Wisconsin senators fled the state
To prove they can stall democracy
Spending more proving their point
Bent on saving the public workers
Another day their boss has turned
Against options gained as rewards
Everyone is seeing the hard times
It is written on the populus face
When will we stop funding schools
In countries that feel we invaded
As if being afraid makes us safer
Nothing alone is something sacred
Only together do we return favors
