Morning Mutterings
that love flies by on silver wings
what hurts the most is how it stings

Premium Member An Ode To Xiao Ling's Question
An ode to Xiao Lings question .

The day begins in mystery.
It is the moments we live.
From the heart, need to give.
At days end, becomes history.

At sun rise, it begins again.
For so many, life is routine.
A never ending chorus, unseen.
At sun set, life’s only refrain.

Premium Member Are You a Ding-A-Ling
The world is full of ding-a-lings, are you sure you're not one A self assessment will tell you, do you sometimes come undone Do you get that uncontrollable urge A feeling to strip naked emerge If you think you're a prime candidate, better see a shrink on the run © Jack Ellison 2015

A Roto-dent toothbrush of mine
Once said “Where the heck did you dine?’
there’s bits of Swiss chard
Next too white fried cod
And pumpkin seeds by your canine?

Just then the cell phone ding-a-lings
calls out “I’ve got just the thing!’
that new water pick
will soon do the trick
“Howdy-Do DING-A-LING-ling?”...

Smelt
smelt
mumble
set aside
all lingerings
let the water rise
feelings pressured in me
yet, everything is alright
tender tip lings around my neck
take it easy now, a few more steps
cooling and press your lips upon my flesh
compromising tingles, in different sets
place your hands on my hips, enter soft at your own bliss...

Yur In Trouble
Mary hiked up to Pipi Springs
With hope of seeing pretty things
A little tinkle
Became a sprinkle
When all she saw were ding-a-lings

2nd Verse
Contributed by Jan Allison:

To Mary their antics were shockin'
blokes certain all had their cok in
some folk they were nude
their bonking was lewd
if unlucky a baby their clockin....

Perhaps
Perhaps

that love flies by on silver wings
what hurts the most is how it stings
but rise we must for love it brings
us lonely little ding a lings...
supporting words are ever sought
prattling of some brighter thought
round and round it rattles till
the keyboard forms and words instil
love you mate and I ain’t bent
you be a shiela heaven sent

Premium Member The Best Time In a Barn
The bolt was not on the barn that day
A big mistake by Old Man Fuzzins
We thought it was the perfect place to play.

We brought in a bunch of our cousins
Some of them slightly odd ding-a-lings
They had ideas by the dozens

With a bit of rope we made some swings
We were amused at the creaking wood
It made us laugh about lots of things

We had as much fun as cousins could
No reunion has ever felt this good...

Premium Member Backyard Bird Show
Many tiny purple-green iridescent hummingbirds go fluttering by
As cardinals, and finches are out foraging as their little hatch-lings cry
Robins proudly landing on tree branches, dancing and putting on a show
Black Crows are cackling, circling, and planning for all little birds to know
