Stampede
Ten thousand hooves and horns on the Devil's run
Lighting crashing, thunder rolling, all Hell has broke loose
                                          A nightmare, full speed ahead...

Opaque
opaque wonder
lighting and thunder
all because of you

questions of the heart
that always seem to start
whenever I’m with you

kindred spirits roam
distance, far from home
thinking about you

hide it all away
starting a new day
moving south of you...

The rising and setting
Of the sun…
The waxing and waning
Of the moon…

The orchestrated constellations
Of the beaming stars…
The staccato positionings
Of the planets…

The andante asteroids, comets,
And nebulae…
The soprano and baritone
Lighting and thunder…

All a beautiful canvasing
Galactic symphony…
Cosmic 24-hour live stream
Music to the eyes…

Stormy Night
wind swirls all about
lighting flashes thunder crashes
tis' such a stormy night
I can almost touch the light
as I take flight to my feet
I wonder why I left my seat

then comes the calm of the storm
wind dies, the souls cry and the earth shakes in it's wake

why did he let the storm come
was it just to shake us up maybe he sick of us all
he is the seeker of truth and light
so why must he send down rain with all his might
