Horrid Smell

Making sense of a horrid smell
I want to let off a loud yell
Cause its very bad
Her foot, just a tad
Stepped into the dog’s poop, oh well

Ach Toe B-R-R-R

There was a girl on the Isle of Man
Freezing her buttocks off in the can
There was no one to care
If she let off hot air
So toasting toes are now, "Owed to Jan"!

Route 66ish No 18

Route 66ish No 18

In Denver a waitress supreme,
Always proffered her scones dipped in cream,
She would wriggle her hips,
So she got lots of tips,
While the menfolk all let off some steam!!

Angelo

Grounded by emotions is the messenger.

Witnesses kiss teeth and let off sighs.

A child asked her mother "Why did the angel fall from the sky?"

She replied, It's heart was too heavy to fly.

Ode to a dog

Oh you lucky dog
aren't you glad you're not a frog
as easy as it may seem
you just lift a leg and let off some steam
instead of jumping on a log
like a frog
you just prance around the yard like a deer
playing with your toys with no fear

Nightmare

A ghoul with an axe took a swing at me
I couldn’t move I was tied to a tree
Sweating profusely I let off a scream
Then woke with a jolt ‘twas only a dream.

Something Like

Something like bliss
I love this part
that sweet first kiss
was Cupid's dart...

Something like a dream
yet the pain is real
we let off steam
its no big deal...

something is a miss
I hate this part
that first thrown fist
made me smart...

Something is gone
the pain still here
lay awake until dawn
and shed my last tear...

2 Weeks of Hell

Today's Mother's Day Cafe closed, I scream.
Going bonkers place to place wheelchair bound.
To irked to do whatnot I let off steam ,
Saturday, same crap. I wheelchair around.
Last week Cafe closed 3 days,no daydream.
Ice water and popcorn ,diet not sound
Times like this I do not know what to do
I feel put off on I surely feel screwed.

Tangled In Helium Balloons

Birds wrapped in sung sun swallows
tangled in helium let off balloons
bursting to confetti on new year's eve
silvery sliding snakes race the rails
against roller- racing take-off gliders
Every father's grudge to my pain
auto-flight lever adjustments
The rotors caught up in balloons,
black and filled with octopus ink
and finally pressure bursts on the fink.

Rage Is Like a Boiling Tea Kettle

Rage is Like a Boiling Tea Kettle Written: by Tom Wright 8-4-2016 When I allow others to press my button, And trigger any anger that lies within. They own me in a manner of speaking, And I’m often left with hidden chagrin. I know it’s always best to keep my cool, It behooves me to keep anger subdued. But seems I always need to let off steam, And again I need work on my attitude.

Baby Talk

I was talking similar to a baby
my feelings I did show
bringing out my inner child
a gasket he did blow

He wasn't all that glad
exaggeration flew
out of his mouth as if he was mad
he did this thing on cue

It made me laugh which is fine
I had to let off steam
though the anger was not mine
it was just a dream

I woke up and I told myself
do not worry for to be
an infant that the night tells
you're awake in actuality

Reason

The acoustic hallows,

stark face follows...

The guns show line's in the time's,

as drifty as sand and wines...

The larkspur gives them grows,

the English meter mows,

we don't show,
anything we want to know-

time to create plaster now,

let off on a few rafters,

dynamic and enigmatic...

It is so hardly sparse,

it's waiting on the cart,

it's everybody to dart!

I'M Heaven Bound

I'm Heaven bound
I'm heaven bound after visiting hell
I have been to hell and did see him.
In his suit of red.
I watched the fire and did not burn.
I just told him I'm heaven bound now.
I'm not coming back. The visit was not all that great.
The heat made my feet stink.
God will show me the way so now I'm heaven bound.
A glass of water on the way so I can let off a little steam.
I'm heaven bound after visiting hell. And that is no thrill.

In the Crazy Canteen

In the crazy canteen,
people threw plates
and let off steam...
The real canteen was somewhere else.

That one was an oasis of calm,
and people ate from plates quietly.
It was a place to talk to the boss
and hint at maybe, rises.

But in the crazy canteen
the bosses did not go...
It was just for workers evidently,
throwing knives and forks.

Double Trouble

There lived a man and his wife
Who buzzed like bees in a hive
The tension between them was rife
They stung each other with knives
They somehow survived these fights
It got worse when they turned on the lights
She was never a good looker
But was keen on her lips to have a pucker
After botox and filler she resembled a gorilla
His reaction he mouthed to her was mean
Shouting and yelling he let off steam
And exploded like a pressure cooker!
