summer to winter
whilst in silence bird calls sound

The tips of the fingers, His
Gentle on shoulders, Hers
You who lengthen toward heaven,Him
Standing tall on green, She.

As shades lengthen, while shoots up
The last, most intense of
Day's luminous image
So does wickedness increase
With all of its fury
At the end of an age.
The breath, dead silent
no pulse ahead, no way back
shadows lengthen, day is done
No more to explore
no more to hope nor to yearn
just fading light at day`s end.
Afternoon shadows lengthen too early
Days shrink away into night's sultry grip
Which restrains cheerful morning from welcoming
Us back to life, and the pursuit of fleeting pleasures
Listen to poem:
It's all go to woe!
Besides, there's no woe betides!
As reigns let loose,
the strides lengthen
and we say:
"neigh, nay, nay" to "Whoa Up"
It's giddy giddy, G'day!
Let's go!
"Giddy up, Giddy up"!
shadows lengthen
chestnuts roast-
winter bides
catkins murmur
easter eggs-
spring tides
bluebells chime
wasps picnic-
summer stays
flower presses
fruit preserves-
autumn frays
Haiku sequence form
Shadows lengthen; increasingly
Is cast in doubt.
Hangs, with dying man's hope about
Whilst time runs out.
As the droops set in, with eve's chill
Eyes, reflecting
Eddies at sea's confusion, in
All headings spin.
There is beauty in the dying of the day
where shadows lengthen in the dusk
waters ripple with enchanted hush
as twilight chases the sunlight away.
Stanza from Dying of the Day poem
written on 10/17/2019
Long live ours
but the error is yours
and we were like love flower
though forgiveness is power
Sweet before ,now the taste is sour
together not for an hour
I thought this love can be strengthen
no it can't be lengthen .

Stay tuned – the ‘cheki, cheki, remix!’
Will return
The lost souls of war
Will lengthen
The fake drama will unravel
And continue
The discovery of global warming,
Coming up
Stay tuned-and the birds will twerp
Waiting for your clouding weep
haiku seasons
frozen in epigrams
tripping from a pen
shadows lengthen
chestnuts roast-
winter bides
catkins murmur
easter eggs-
spring tides

Dawn
sunrise
daylight breaks
the sun beams down
colours set ablaze
shadows slowly lengthen
now the sun begins to set
dusk now rules over the earth
shyly the moon peeks out
starlight brightens all
twinkling silver
in the sky
darkness
fades
Watching the sunlight shatter
and regroup to sliver again
in refractory bliss across the bay
evening shadows lengthen
and the kaleidoscope pixies
play across my eyes
while the silent hiss of suns' set
under rose and lavender skies
etches my life.
These shadows lengthen evening,
virescent and plum in that certain solemnity.
Do not think twice about the unthinkable,
it is a slow slide to an uneasy finish.
That certain order of the oleander is never clear,
it is not death, but life we fear.
Shadows lengthen eastward
Undulating and shimmering
Now leaning toward
Dusk fast approaching
Offering no extended hours
Where shadows may linger
Now from nightfall until dawn

How quiet are the closing moments
of Winter
Its final lingering shadow
passing over your regret
Days lengthen into night,
returning Blackbirds a good tiding
What ended in shades of red and brown
—beginning once again
(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2019)
Tick Toc
The clock turning
Round , round without ceasing
Blow your horn in celebration
For time passes and the shadows lengthen
So dance and sing in the moonlight
Laugh, time is the jester
Another day

Just Nine Lines contest..
As days become short,
the more precious each hour becomes
Memories lengthen,
to stretch like the rays of the sun
Time is unfolded,
its layers unmasked to expose
This moment transcendent
—the past and future deposed
(Villanova Pennsylvania: July, 2017)
Each day more treasured ...
enhanced by time
and season’s glow
As years grow shorter
feelings lengthen
inside my soul
Regret for others
who sleep away
their lives assumed
As dawn awaits me
to bask in thoughts of love
— and you

Listen to the
Wind
Blowing
And the waves
At the ocean
Shore
Land's End
All rivers
Flowing into
Clouds
Drifting
In the sky
Sunset colors
Fall
Maples
In the cold
While nights lengthen
Dreams
Of peace
Of the past
Of the future
Songs
Sweetly
comes spring
with rain
and sun;
nature
is so
alive
Hotter
days make
me laze.
I thrill
to feel
summer
arrive.
Autumn
brightly
adorns
trees and
cool nights
lengthen
out then.
Snow drifts
aglow;
winter
brings cold
till spring
returns
again.
The poet in me
misses
The poet in you
Mountains look colder
The sky darkens
with your eyes
Another day I lost
In the converging confines
All the ordinary
engulfs
Even as I searched
Even as you searched
for changes
Shadows lengthen
And travel around you
You travel in me
Form:
I now live,
what I've lived before...
Only now it's different...
that I do fitter now
of what I did before...
or do worse what
I didn't learn...
If I do it right,
I shorten my life,
if I do the worst,
I lengthen my life...
Contradictory, but true...
Then later, I'll explain... !
gold pink orange dawn
rise up refreshed in sunshine
like a fragrant bloom
in torrid noon hour
emerald green and jaded
birds sing to summer
reds mauves turn dusky
shadows lengthen into night
glimmering moonbeams
midnight of dreaming
diamond stars are twinkling fire
music in the night
