Most times you have to be in a worsen state before you can be better~
12/19/20
Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2020
No need to wear a bra today
No one can take them out to play
A different scene
Is Trump's Quarantine
Where COVID-19 is hearsay
later,
he meets a woman
the deepest
and oldest source
of his contentment
they smile
but never marry
she harbored no hate
The difference between
a social butterfly
and a wallflower ~
I'm busy yakking now
Gimme an hour or so ...
When his head up in the air often pokes,
What we knew was it had been a hoax;
Were shocked and had so many strokes.

In the year 1970
dawn of a new day ~
"To be gay is OK"
In 2020, is it too late
to proudly state
"It's great to be straight"
America plagued by terror
Murder and hate wherever you turn
Country gone the way of Watts, ‘65
~ “Burn, baby burn”
biology class
where sperm whales are mentioned
seventh grade snickers
no one laughed in sixth
thanks to sex education
they are getting wise
Braving all odds she dares
step out into the rain sans umbrella
~ hair will surely pay dearly

“Someday,” a beautiful yet so sad
Something I say to myself, every day.
Someday, however, I will finally be glad
For having always believed, “There is a way.”
(Y)esterday youth
(E)early age
(A)way now
(R)oads ,haze
(S)ounds low
(L)ong story
(A)s tale
(T)he test is over
(E)normus amount
(R)esidue on the bottom
Interference eventually settles, oh my! as we cry
To the portals we witness as the clouds refrain
It's the map of the world, indifferently strange!

For me its always a great debate,
getting things done just moments short of late.
I'd say something witty
at the end of this ditty,
but like I said I procrastinate.
Sadly, Ivana Trump died today,
Her ex-husband had this to say,
She was lovely and a good Mummy,
Then further on, he asked for money,
When will it be his time to pay
Aches and pains all over my body
Guess I'm finally going to potty
Later than most
Don't want to boast
My stunning body's famous but a wee bit shoddyi
Said the fool
to Hamlet, Macbeth,
the Joker, and every other
lovable madman
Through sand, fractures,
dirt, dust,
and all life’s ambiguities
Something still stands
Love's like a scratched record
that plays over and over again
When you can feel the needle wear out
and you wait for it to end
And it does-
When you walk away years later
When you reap fruits of your labor, be wise~~preserve some for the future.

He said some things.
Driving, going nowhere,
a sky crying
over a shrugging windshield.
If he had a penny for all her sad thoughts
he'd give a million dollars
not to hear them.
D-o it now not later,
I-t's time to act right away;
N-ever delay nor linger,
A-s you sense the end of day.

Well I just gotta make you laugh
In my head there’s a whole lot’ stuff
If I let pass
It’ll only come out my ****
it’ll be funny and smelly but that’s tough
*the last Limerick from me*
War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength
~ George Orwell, 1948
Lies are Truth
Democracy is Tyranny
Might Makes Right

same staircase
yet so high

Im sad you are gone but i cant do nothing about it
I love you,you are my light and everthing else later
on in life I will see you there so Im saying see you
later when my time is up we will be together
Man,
sooner or later would be called upon,
A very hard decision to take
Either deadly technology to keep
Or his own existence to forsake!
